Delicious homemade gummies… without the junk 🐝🌻 These are one of my favorite little swaps when I want something sweet but still feel good about what I’m feeding myself (and my kids). Recipe breakdown: ✨ 2 cups juice of choice (I always reach for organic — quality matters here) ✨ 5 tbsp gelatin (bovine / grass-fed is best for us) ✨ 2 tbsp honey (natural sweetness, no fake stuff) Combine juice and gelatin until 🧠 texture appears. Warm the juice gently, stir in honey, pour into molds, and chill until set. That’s it. Simple, nourishing, and actually delicious. Homemade Vegan Gummies 😍💓 By @georginaburgess_ These healthier, vegan gummies are honestly so easy, satisfying, and fun to make 🫶🏻 I’ll link the agar agar powder I’m using in my stories 😊 Recipe - this makes A LOT so halve the recipe if you want ❤️ 600ml pure fruit juice - I used pomegranate plus a splash of beetroot for a rich colour (but I’d avoid the beetroot next time as it’s strong tasting 🥴) 1-2 tbsp sweetener such as maple syrup - optional 5 tsp agar agar powder Add the juice, sweetener (if using), and agar agar powder to a pan and bring to boil - 5 mins. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool 5-10 mins before pouring into a mould (place the mould on a plate beforehand - this makes it easier to transfer into the fridge). Vegan Fruit Gummies 🫐🥝 Did you know you can make perfectly chewy, sweet (or sweet & sour) gummies using only fruit? Traditional gummies use gelatin, which isn’t vegan because it’s made from animal bones and connective tissue. Instead, this recipe uses agar-agar, a plant-based ingredient made from algae that creates the same chewy texture — perfect for homemade vegan candy Ingredients: • 1 cup fruit puree* • 2 tsp agar agar powder • 1–4 tbsp maple syrup or sugar • 1–4 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for sour gummies) Instructions: 1️⃣ Blend your fruit of choice until smooth and creamy to create a fruit puree. 2️⃣ Measure 1 cup of fruit puree and add it to a small saucepan over medium heat. 3️⃣ Add agar agar powder, sweetener of choice, and lemon juice (if using). Whisk well to combine. 4️⃣ Heat until the mixture begins to bubble, then reduce the heat and cook for 2–3 more minutes. This step is important to activate the agar agar so the gummies set properly. 5️⃣ Pour the mixture into gummy molds or ice cube molds. 6️⃣ Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then remove from the molds and enjoy! Notes: You can use many different fruits. For this recipe, the following worked great: 🍓 Strawberry: • 4 tbsp sweetener • 2 tbsp lemon juice 🥭 Mango: • No sweetener • 2 tbsp lemon juice 🥝 Kiwi: • 4 tbsp sweetener • 1 tbsp lemon juice • Optional: pinch of matcha powder for color 🫐 Blueberry: • 4 tbsp sweetener • 2 tbsp lemon juice Naturally sweet, fun to make, and perfect for a healthy homemade treat 🍬 🎥 By: @veggieworldrecipes
