Do you use this tool? . Big Pee Vee Wall Puller.  Used this since the 80's, they've been around longer. The wall sheathing will connect from the blocking all the way down to the basement mudsill. Since the joists run parallel with this wall, I prefer to nail along the outside of the bottom plate and hit rim.  I'm using a 3" nail which will penetrate the subfloor into the rim, but the fasteners that connect the subfloor to the rim actually stick down farther.  No need to worry about other trades, they won't hit either these nails, nor the subfloor fasteners which are required for the floor diaphragm.  This will is a 4,000lb rake wall and you can see how easily I can pull it to the line. #framersareadyingbreed #framerlife #framing #huberpartner
