Tired of templated websites that all look the same? I got you! I help brands create custom websites that looks unique and make your offer instantly clear, build trust in seconds and guide your customers to the next step. If you need a new website, DM me! — Designers ask me all the time “your design looks so outstanding, how do you do it?” And I’m always like… you should’ve seen my work 10 years ago 😅 It was clean, it worked, clients were happy… but it looked average. I wanted that “wow” feeling Here is what helped me: 1. Learned design principles. Hierarchy, spacing, and typography. It sounds cliché, but most design problems are just the basics being off. 2. Develop the taste - hard truth, if your taste is amateur your work will be average. it’s important to be able to know the difference between poor design and good design. How do you do it? By consuming pro level design work. But just looking isn’t enough, and that’s the next point ⤵️ 3. Learned from PROs in the industry - the best way to learn is by doing. You can watch dozens of tutorials but if you DON’T DO IT you’ll fail. I learned by recreating layouts to understand why design worked: type scale, grids, spacing patterns, rhythm, how they handled sections. I never posted it, never claimed it was mine i did it all for repetition. Like going to the gym. Over time I started seeing patterns. And once I understood good design, I started making it.

How to Design your Website - part 5 ✨ This week I’m discussing site styles and my top tips for a good site. - 1-2 fonts - a limited colour palette - a compact and legible logo - consistent buttons and links Constant tweaks usually means something isn’t working and you need to take a step back and assess what the issue is. Headers are one of my biggest bug bears on websites. No one needs to see headers that take up a vast amount of space. Remember the header loads on every page and you really don’t want that the be the main thing people see on EVERY page. It’s annoying. You don’t need a fancy website to make money. You need a website that actually knows what the hell it’s doing. And here’s the part most designers won’t say out loud… Pretty doesn’t pay the bills. You can have the most beautiful site on the internet — stunning fonts, gorgeous colors, cute little animations — and still hear nothing but crickets. Because design without strategy is basically putting lipstick on a landing page and hoping for the best. What actually makes a website convert comes down to a few things most people skip: • Clear messaging (people should know what you do in about 3 seconds)• Strategic layout (guiding visitors where you want them to go)• Strong calls to action (tell people what to do next — don’t make them guess)• A page structure designed to sell, not just sit there looking pretty This is why so many templates fall flat. They look great… but they weren’t built with actual strategy baked in. A high-converting website isn’t about making things prettier. It’s about making things clearer, simpler, and ridiculously easy for someone to say yes. Because when your site actually guides people toward the sale… That’s when the magic happens. Not when you add another fancy font. 😉

Design isn’t magic. It’s pattern recognition. The best designers don’t start from scratch. They study better references. Here are 3 websites that will instantly level up your design eye: • Awwwards – for world-class inspiration • Land-book – for clean, high-converting layouts • Mobbin – for UI patterns that actually work Stop guessing. Start reverse-engineering. Save this for later — and send it to a designer who needs better references. #webdesign #uidesign #uxdesign #webdesigner #designinspiration
