Instead of a colon cleanse, do this instead: 1️⃣For 1 week (or as long as you like), cut out all processed foods. Eat lots of plants! Have the bulk of each meal be veggies, with some beans or whole grains, and a source of protein (fish, poultry, lean meat, tofu). Avoid super processed foods, sweets, alcohol, and artificial sweeteners. 2️⃣Ensure you are getting both soluble and insoluble fiber at each meal. Soluble fiber softens the stool and insoluble fiber adds bulk to the stool and stimulates a bowel movement. This means eating a combo of fruits, veggies, nuts/seeds, and beans/lentils. Kiwis have been shown to improve constipation! And I have a reel with an entire list of foods that fight constipation. 3️⃣Ensure adequate hydration. Your urine should be light yellow or lighter. 4️⃣Go for a walk daily. The movement will help stimulate movement of the stool through the colon. 5️⃣Avoid “wheat dextrin” ingredient as it can be constipating. You may want to try removing gluten as some people get constipated when they eat gluten containing grains/wheat. 6️⃣Check with your doctor to see if any of your medications, supplements, or medical conditions can be contributing to constipation. (For example, benadryl and antihistamines.) 7️⃣Try taking daily psyllium powder in water, it can help with constipation, diarrhea, AND ibs! 8️⃣If you want to add a stool softening agent, you can try magnesium citrate or oxide over the counter (check with your doctor first). 9️⃣If you want to stimulate bowel movements / increase motility, ask your doctor if its okay to use senna tablets or tea for a short period of time. Have you ever tried any of these colon cleanses? From what Ive heard from patients, they are not so pleasant, and some of them are dangerous (colon perforation risk)!! If your constipation is new or worsening, or if you a change in the form/shape of your stool or blood or black in the stool, you should discuss with your doctor. (This is not medical advice, always discuss diet changes, symptoms, supplements and medications with your doctor). #coloncleanse #colon #healthtips #doctortips

She said “she’s gorgeous and she’s gonna make me poop.” And honestly… I was intrigued. She made a two-ingredient poop potion—apple-cider vinegar and Benefiber—and before she even finished drinking it, she was sprinting to the bathroom. Does it work? Yeah, it’ll move things along. But here’s where I jump in with a little truth bomb: Benefiber is made from wheat dextrin. If you’ve got a sensitive gut, celiac, or gluten issues, that’s a no-go. It can actually make things worse—think more bloating, more irritation, and less of the “glorious evacuation” she promised. My swap? Acacia fiber. It’s clean, gluten-free, and actually feeds your good gut bugs while helping things flow naturally. So yes, her combo works—but there’s a better way to get your bowels back on schedule without wrecking your gut. 👉🏼 Comment “CONSTIPATION” and I’ll send you my Constipation Cure Guide to get more pooping tips so you can stop playing fiber roulette.

Maltodextrin : What You Need to Know It’s a highly processed carbohydrate made from corn, rice, or wheat. ‼️ Commonly used in processed foods like milk powder, instant drinks, chips, and biscuits. ‼️ Adds bulk, improves texture, and acts as a preservative. ‼️ Quickly spikes blood sugar levels, similar to regular sugar. ‼️ Often found in the first few ingredients, indicating a highly processed product. Check your labels and choose products with fewer additives for better health! #healthylifestyle #nutritioncoach #nutritiontips #wellness #healthyliving #healthyeating #healthmatters #foodlabels

💬 Comment “RELIEF” and I’ll send you 3 proven strategies that work. Here’s what I would NOT buy from the supermarket if you’re constipated. 1️⃣ Metamucil sounds helpful BUT it’s mostly psyllium husk, a bulking fibre. If stool is already slow, adding bulk without improving movement can increase pressure and bloating. 2️⃣ Benefiber is another one to skip. It’s made from wheat dextrin, which is highly fermentable and can feed gas-producing bacteria. 3️⃣ And probiotics aren’t always the answer either. If bloating is driven by SIBO or dysbiosis, they can actually increase gas and worsen constipation. Because constipation isn’t always a fibre problem. It’s usually a motility problem. ✅ I’d focus on things that support your slow motility. - Coconut water - Kiwi Fruit - Fresh ginger tea -Dandelion tea. If you need help relieving constipation and bloating without irritating your gut... 💬Comment “RELIEF” and I’ll send you 3 proven strategies that work. Maltodextrin is a common ingredient lurking in your "sugar-free" foods that could be secretly spiking your blood sugar more intensely than regular sugar. It’s not just about avoiding sweets; it’s about knowing the hidden culprits in your diet. Often hidden under names like modified food starch, can skyrocket your glycemic response, posing a bigger threat than you might realize. Ancient wheat varieties had high gluten and protein content than modern wheat. Ancient varieties like einkorn, emmer, spelt, and khorasan had simpler protein chromosome structure, a higher ratio of soluble to insoluble protein, and more amino acids. Modern hybridized wheat has a higher starch content. I carry three types of heirloom wheat seeds including khorasan, an scientific variety, hard white wheat, a high fiber variety, and soft white wheat a low gluten variety. #wheat #gluten #ancientwheat #heirloom #heirloomseeds #glutenfree #protein #history #ancient #milling #grains #fiber #health #nutrition #gardening #seeds

People ask me all the time…”do you think fresh milled wheat would help with_____?” I have so many amazing testimonies in my highlights from people who started milling and are making bread for their families, and I’m always adding more testimonies as people began making this change and see their health improve….quickly. I’m not saying this is a cure all…but when fresh milling your wheat has 40/44 essential nutrients…I get why it helps so many people with different things. Bread off the shelf at the store cannot provide this powerhouse of nutrition. All the nutrients have been stripped, bleached, chemically treated, and sifted out so that it can be shelf stable. What’s left is a flour that is actually really hard on your digestion—all the natural digestive enzymes contained in the grain is gone! It takes me 5 minutes to mill and throw this in the bread machine and press start. And this bread contains 91% of the daily nutrients that you need to survive! “Give us this day our daily bread” has a new meaning when I learned that all bread used to be milled fresh and made at home. If you want to get started, check out my ebook! Linked in my Linktree! I teach you everything you need to know to get started, and where to source everything! #freshmilledflour #wholewheat

Why grains are demonized The presence of chlormequat chloride, a chemical used to reduce the stem height of plants and increase yields, has raised concerns in oat-based and wheat-based foods, with high detection rates in both products and people. Despite its use being limited to ornamental plants by the US EPA, chlormequat is allowed in imported foods, posing uncertainties about its safety. Studies on Danish pigs and rats have indicated potential reproductive and developmental effects, with estimated intake levels exceeding regulatory limits. These findings highlight the need for further monitoring and research into the potential health risks associated with chlormequat exposure. If you’re going to eat grains in this day and age, make sure to opt for unprocessed, organic oat products to avoid exposure to toxic pesticides like chlormequat and glyphosate. Avoid Quaker Oaks Co. (Pepsi Co.) and General Mills for sure. ✌🏼+🧡 ______ #pesticide #chlormequat #reproduction #grain #wheat #oats #beacure
