I would have picked you in every lifetime, in every world— through every ending and every beginning, through every version of us that learned how to love and how to break. I would have found you even when the path erased itself, even when the stars forgot our names, and I would still choose you, even knowing it would ruin me. - - - - - - - - - - - #bookstagram #booktok #authortok #authorgram #writerssupportingwriters #writersofinstagram #writers #author #literary #literaryaesthetic #write #poetic #poeticsoul #poetsandwriters #poetsofınstagram #poet #fyp #writingcommunity #trending #trendingaudio

To keep my writing momentum going, I blend structure with spontaneity. I begin by brainstorming ideas and organising them on an idea wall or in ring binders. Visual aids like pictures and character sketches help me envision scenes and personalities. However, I don't rigidly adhere to these plans. When I write, I let the story flow, referring back to my planning only when needed. This flexibility allows for unexpected plot twists and character developments, keeping the process exciting and dynamic. DM ‘unstuck’ to receive the workbook! There are some writers who don’t just write stories—they dissect the human soul. Franz Kafka and Fyodor Dostoevsky belong to that rare kind. Reading them doesn’t feel like escape; it feels like confrontation—with yourself. Kafka writes like a quiet nightmare you can’t wake up from. In his world, nothing is loud, yet everything is suffocating. A man wakes up as an insect in *The Metamorphosis*, and somehow, that absurdity feels more real than reality itself. His words carry the weight of invisible anxieties—the fear of not belonging, of being misunderstood, of existing in a system that doesn’t even notice your suffering. Kafka doesn’t scream his pain; he lets it linger in silence, where it becomes even more unsettling. Dostoevsky, on the other hand, is a storm. His characters don’t quietly suffer—they argue, collapse, confess, and burn from within. In *Crime and Punishment*, guilt becomes a living, breathing force, chasing a man not through the streets, but through his own conscience. Dostoevsky dives deep into moral chaos, where right and wrong blur, and the human mind becomes both the prison and the prisoner. If Kafka represents the anxiety of existence, Dostoevsky represents its torment. Kafka shows how the world can feel meaningless and distant; Dostoevsky shows how meaning itself can destroy you. One traps you in a quiet, absurd maze; the other throws you into a battlefield inside your own soul. And yet, both meet at the same truth: being human is not simple. It is heavy, contradictory, and often unbearably lonely. They remind you that the deepest struggles are not the ones we show—but the ones we carry silently, hidden beneath ordinary lives. To read Kafka and Dostoevsky is not to find comfort. It is to feel seen in the parts of yourself you rarely dare to look at. #theliteraturetimes #bookstagram #books #bookengagement #bookish

🎬 Fun fact: When Pixar was developing Monsters University, they didn’t just write jokes about college life — they actually sent several of their artists and writers to real universities to sit in on classes, walk around campus, and observe how students interacted, all so the movie would capture the tiny details of college life correctly, from lecture halls and study groups to the awkward first-day-of-school energy. Another interesting detail is that Mike’s iconic MU hat became so popular after the movie’s release that Pixar had to massively increase production of the real-life version, because fans kept buying it as a symbol of being an “undergrad monster,” and it ended up becoming one of the studio’s most successful merchandise items tied to a film that didn’t even introduce a new main character.
