To get just 30g of protein, your parents would need to eat **4–5 cups** of toor or masoor dal — that’s impossible in one meal. 2️⃣ **Paneer, tofu, or tempeh:** Great sources, yes — but let’s be real. Most parents don’t eat 100–200g of paneer or tofu daily. Cooking it every single day is tiring, needs creativity and can be expensive 3️⃣ **Curd or dahi:** Regular Indian curd is **higher in fat than protein**, and Greek yogurt — which actually has protein — isn’t accessible or affordable for many families. So the most practical, science-backed fix is to consume a **scoop of whey or plant-based protein powder. Mix it with water and drink it in the morning for breakfast.** It gives **25–30g of the most bioavailable protein** — helps control cravings, keeps skin and hair healthy, builds muscle, and over time, even helps reduce dependency on medicines.
