BRI was 5 months post partum with my first when I found out I was pregnant with my second. I cried. Out of fear, out of feeling inadequate, and out of fear I was taking opportunities away from my oldest. Now, over 4 years in and adding another baby to our family, I’m here to say that giving your kid a sibling is the best gift you could ever give them. My heart has unexplainablely grown with each child and I feel like each kid, my efforts are miraculously doubled. I somehow have more time in my day. Thank God for the chance I have to be a mother!

ADHere’s the backstory- we found out our son’s precious birth mom chose us on Thursday, Friday we were able to bring him home. Just about every Sunday we get together with my brothers, sister in laws, sister, and parents for Sunday dinner. We wanted to wait to tell my brothers and their wives in person at Sunday dinner. It was so hard to keep my mouth shut in the family group chat for those few days hahaha but I’m so glad we did!!! Oh sweet Auggie you are so loved, celebrated, and cherished!
