some said it made you feel like you missed your moment
some were triggered by the audio
some thought it wasn’t even real
and honestly… I can see why.
none of it was ever really about the candles.
it was just me, on a beach,
turning 30
and wanting to actually feel it.
not rush it
not numb it
not treat it like just another day
just… be in it.
it wasn’t perfect.
it took longer than I thought, the wind was indeed blowing, sand everywhere 😅
but I think that’s what made it real.
I don’t think moments like this are something you either get right or miss.
I think you create them
in whatever way feels meaningful to you.
so if this brought something up for you…
I don’t think that’s a bad thing.
I think it just means there’s something in you
