It is just the right amount of heat to warm the body during colder seasons to boost immunity 🙌.⁠ ⁠ My clients report fire cider has helped reduce digestive bloating, sugar cravings and sinus congestion.⁠ ⁠ Take 1 teaspoon as a prevention boost and 2 to 3X daily when immunity is compromised or add a 1 tablespoon to dressings, sauces, and others culinary condiments as desired.⁠ ⁠ INGREDIENTS:⁠ ⁠ 1 organic orange or mandarin, thinly sliced 🍊⁠ 1 organic lemon, sliced 🍋⁠ ½ cup finely chopped red onion or leeks (white and light green parts only)⁠ 2 to 3 tablespoons grated fresh peeled ginger⁠ 2 to 3 tablespoons garlic, crushed⁠ 2 tablespoons grated fresh horseradish⁠ 2 tablespoons honey 🍯 OR ½ teaspoon liquid monk fruit or stevia extract⁠ 2 cups apple cider vinegar 🍎⁠ ⁠ Optional:⁠ 1 tablespoon grated fresh peeled turmeric OR 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 🧡⁠ ⁠ DIRECTIONS:⁠ ⁠ 1. Line a 4-cup wide mouth mason jar with the orange and lemon slices. Add the onion, ginger, garlic, horseradish and sweetener. Pour the apple cider vinegar into the jar and screw the lid on tightly.⁠ 2. Store in the fridge for 3 to 6 weeks. Shake every few days. The longer you store it, the spicier it gets. When you wish to stop the extraction, strain the contents with a fine-mesh strainer or cheese cloth into another mason jar and seal with a lid. Store the fire cider in the refrigerator for 1 year or longer.⁠ 3. To use, stir 1 to 2 tablespoon of the fire cider in ¼ cup of warm or room temperature water and drink it like a tonic.⁠ ⁠ Warning: Use with caution if fighting any autoimmune conditions as this is an immuno-stimulating blend.⁠
