When @the_mini_adhd_coach Alice Gendron entered the workforce, she struggled to manage the workload of a nine-to-five job and also stay on top of the endless demands of adulting. When she was diagnosed with ADHD at 29, it all finally made sense. Alice started making doodles about her ADHD experience, a skill she had been honing since grade school. Before she knew it, her illustrations had grown into the popular online platform ‘The Mini ADHD Coach’, with over half a million Instagram followers and a brand new book of the same name. Looking at them, it’s easy to see why so many ADHDers are drawn to Alice’s illustrations; her simplistic doodles get right to the heart of what having ADHD feels like in such a sweet and relatable way. Join our conversation to hear how Alice was able to turn her passion project into a fulfilling career, what she’s learned about leading since becoming an entrepreneur, the cultural shifts around ADHD in France, and so much more. TALK TO YOUR PHARMACIST!! There are SO many medication interactions my doctor didn’t tell me about when prescribing me ADHD meds. Even if you’ve been on the same meds for YEARS, ask your Pharmacist about interactions with everyday vitamins/medications/etc. They are the most knowledgeable on medication interactions! All meds are different and have different interactions! ALWAYS talk to your Pharmacist! EXERCISE QUESTIONS: Stimulants raise your resting HR ~10-20 BPM. They make your heart work harder. This is TOTALLY FINE if your doctor says it’s okay AND you’re exercising, taking care of your heart, and monitoring your heart health. It should be a continual conversation with your doctor. If you don’t take care of your heart, you’re more likely to develop problems like high blood pressure. If that happens, you’d have to go off stimulants because if your blood pressure gets too high, it can be life threatening. HOWEVER!! If you’re taking care of your heart, you’re much less likely to ever develop problems. AND you’re more likely to be able to stay on meds for the rest of your life. Genetics plays a roll, too. You can develop problems even if you’re taking care of your heart. Others could never develop problems even if they didn’t take very good care of their heart. #adhdmedication #adhdmeds #adhddoctor #adhd #adultadhd #adhdinwomen #adhdrelatable #adhdlife #adhdbrain #adhdsquad #adhdtribe #adhdawareness #savetimeshanadhd #savetimeshan #adhdsymptoms #adhdtips #adhdmanagement #adhdlifehacks #adhdlifehack #adhdhelp #adhdsupport #adhdprobs #adhdproblems

As an ADHD person I have overcommitted myself many times when my dopamine is high And then I feel extremely overwhelmed later on Learn to not overcome yourself by being attention to your dopamine highs And before committing to any different task, always ask yourself if this is aligned with your goals, with the life, you are creating, with the goodness from your heart to you and to others. Be kind to yourself Be generous to your heart I am sending a hug from my heart to yours #health #adhd #adhdtips #adhdbrain #mentalhealth

Most partners try to help ADHD by increasing reminders, pressure, or stepping in more. But ADHD brains don’t perform better under pressure—they perform better under safety, clarity, and collaboration. Here are 5 specific ways to support your ADHD partner more effectively: 1. Replace reminders with external systems. Reminding relies on their already-overloaded working memory. Systems reduce the mental load entirely. Example: Instead of saying “don’t forget to take out the trash,” create a shared phone reminder that repeats every Tuesday night. 2. Offer choices instead of open-ended demands. ADHD brains struggle more with initiation than effort. Choices reduce the activation barrier. Example: Instead of “can you clean the kitchen,” say “would you rather do dishes now or sweep after dinner?” 3. Reduce shame when they forget. Shame shuts down motivation and trains avoidance. Safety restores engagement faster. Example: Instead of “you forgot again,” say “hey, let’s reset and figure out what would make this easier next time.” 4. Help them start, not just hold them accountable. Starting is the hardest neurological step. Presence lowers the activation energy. Example: Sit with them while they begin paying bills, organizing, or sending emails—even if you’re doing your own task. 5. Acknowledge effort, not just outcomes. ADHD partners often try extremely hard but only hear feedback when they fail. Effort-based validation builds momentum. Example: “I know that took a lot of effort for your brain. I appreciate you doing that,” even if it wasn’t done perfectly. ADHD partners need someone who understands how their brain works and helps remove friction instead of adding pressure. #adhd #adhdtips #adhdcoaching #relationships #adhdtherapy

5 tips to help manage your ADHD 🧠✨ 1. Focus on movement, nutrition & sleep 🏃‍♀️🥗😴 It sounds basic, but these are the foundation for everything. Movement helps release that pent-up energy through your body instead of your brain (plus all the physical benefits). Eating mostly whole, non-UPF foods makes sure you’re actually getting the nutrients you need, especially if food is one of your dopamine tools. Sleep is the key to it all. Good sleep hygiene and a simple routine set you up for the day. 2. Create a dopamine menu 📋 This has been a game changer for getting my free time back from doomscrolling. Having a list of *go-to* feel-good activities makes it easier to start when you’re stuck in paralysis. I’ve got a full video on this, but it’s one of the best ways to bring more fulfilment into your day. 3. Do less to do more 🎯 All-or-nothing routines work, for about a week. Then one small missed habit derails everything. A shorter, realistic routine helps you prioritise what actually matters and makes consistency possible in real life. 4. Make your environment do the heavy lifting 🏡 Set your future self up the right way. Sometimes I sleep in my gym clothes so I can just get up and go. Keep things visible, pin reminders up, write lists, reduce steps wherever you can. Your environment is there to support you!!! 5. Work *with* your brain, not against it 🧠 You’re not lazy, your brain just works differently. Take short, frequent breaks. Get outside to reset. Use timers, body doubling, whatever helps you. #ADHDHacks #ADHDTips #ADHDWomen
