يطلق مركز أبوظبي للصحة العامة حملة بعنوان " لبناء مستقبل صحي: ابدأ بالأم والطفل" و ذلك ضمن مبادرة "صحة الأم والطفل" والتي تهدف إلى زيادة الوعي المجتمعي، خصوصاً بين النساء، بأهمية تبني عادات صحية للحصول على حمل صحي وأهمية التزام بالفحوصات الدورية للام خلال فترة الحمل الى ما بعد الولادة ، وذلك بالتعاون مع المستشفيات التي تقدم خدمات الأمومة والأطفال في إمارة أبوظبي.
هذا و تتضمن الحملة مجموعة من الأنشطة الاتصالية الفعالة عبر قنوات التواصل الاجتماعي في المركز ومع الشركاء و نشر المحتوى التثقيفي و الكتيبات و الرسائل التوعوية بالاضافة الى زيارات ميدانية لكل من مستشفى الكورنيش و مستشفى توام حيث تم تقديم جلسات توعوية و توزيع الصناديق التي تحتوي على مواد توعوية معنية بصحة الام و الطفل .
The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre has launched a campaign titled "To Build a Healthy Future: Start with Mother and Child" as part of the "Mother and Child Health" initiative. The campaign aims to raise community awareness, especially among women, about the importance of adopting healthy habits for a healthy pregnancy and the significance of regular check-ups for mothers during and after childbirth. This initiative is being conducted in collaboration with hospitals providing maternity and child services in Abu Dhabi.
The campaign includes a range of effective communication activities through ADPHC's and partners' social media channels. It involves disseminating educational content, brochures, and awareness messages and conducting field visits to both Corniche Hospital and Tawam Hospital. During these visits, informative sessions are held, and boxes containing educational materials related to maternal and child health are distributed.

PHThe Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC) and Reem Hospital held a flu vaccination at the Philippine Embassy on 11 October 2024 in support of the UAE government’s Seasonal Influenza Campaign which aims to raise awareness about infectious diseases, particularly seasonal influenza, and promote preventive methods against the illness.
The Philippine Embassy is encouraging our kababayans to get vaccinated to protect yourselves and your loved ones this season.

ADمقتطفات من مؤتمر الإمارات للسمنة الذي انعقد في أبوظبي في دورته الخامسه بحضور سعادة مطر سعيد النعيمي، مدير عام مركز أبوظبي للصحة العامة وعدد من المدراء التنفيذيين.
ويأتي هذا المؤتمر بدعم من مركز أبوظبي للصحة العامة والاتحاد العالمي للسمنة والمركز الاستراتيجي للتعليم المهني للسمنة.
وقد شارك في المؤتمر نخبة من الشخصيات من بينهم متخصصون من شركة M42 وخبراء السمنة من كليفلاند كلينك الولايات المتحدة، وكلية دبلن الجامعية، ومدينة الملك فهد الطبية في المملكة العربية السعودية، ومعهد دسمان للسكري في الكويت وغيرهم.
Highlights from the fifth UAE Obesity Conference, which was held in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of HE Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, and a number of executive directors.
This conference is endorsed by Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, World Obesity Federation (WOF) and Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE)
