Some brands really want EVERYTHING from us - reels, stories, collab posts, full usage rights yet all they offer is a product that doesn’t even reflect the effort, planning, filming, editing, and creativity that goes into making content.
This isn’t about calling out anyone in particular, but for real… brands, you can do better. Stop expecting so much for so little.
And to my fellow creators: I know the collab grind is tempting. We all want partnerships, free products, and exposure. But don’t be so desperate that you take everything on the table. Consider your worth, your value, and the time you put in.
Saying NO to a brand that isn’t worth it doesn’t mean another opportunity won’t come knocking. Protect your creativity, protect your time, and yes protect your kids if they’re involved too.
