THRaising high-energy kids has taught me one very important thing:
You can’t stop the energy…
but you can redirect it.
This simple setup took less than a minute…. All I did was flip cups upside down, place small figurines on top, and hand my son a Koosh ball. His goal was to knock them all over.
And in the process of “just knocking things over” he’s actually working on some big developmental skills:
• building hand-eye coordination
• strengthening motor planning
• practicing aim and control
• helping focus
• giving safe outlets for big energy
It’s a completely independent activity, which means kids get to have fun while you get a moment to yourself. 🤍
