REI canโt decide which is worseโฆ
After 7 years of living full-time in Airbnbs around the world, weโve noticed that most of the problems just shouldnโt be!โฆ Theyโre simple. Cheap to fix. And would instantly make the stay 10x better.
Hereโs whatโs almost always missing:โ
๐ช A sharp kitchen knife
Weโre not trying to slice through a coconut. Just a tomato. Please.
๐ช Hooks. Everywhere.
Coats, towels, bags, wet swimsuits, tomorrowโs outfit. Hooks cost pennies and make life better.
๐๏ธ Pillows that donโt feel like pancakes
Weโll even take extras in the closet. Just donโt make us stack couch cushions for head support.
๐ Plugs next to the bed
This is the bare minimum now. Iโm so tired of crawling under beds with a flashlight and dust bunnies.
๐๏ธ Enough seating for the number of people staying
If the house sleeps 4, there should be 4 comfy places to sit. Not 2 sad bar stools and a wicker chair.
๐ซ Oven-safe pans - and something to grab them with. If you donโt give me pot holders, you canโt be mad that I used a bathroom towel to pull out the casserole dish. Choices were made. Consequences were burned.
