BLفیلم از همون ابتدا میخواد با ترکیب عشق، خیانت و تعلیق، ادای دینی به فیلمهای کلاسیک هالیوود مثل Casablanca داشته باشه، اما آیا تو این هدف موفق بوده؟
قصه در بحبوحهی جنگ جهانی دوم اتفاق میفته، یک افسر اطلاعاتی کانادایی (برد پیت) و یک مبارز مقاومت فرانسوی (ماریون کوتیار) برای انجام مأموریتی خطرناک در کازابلانکا با هم همکاری میکنن. در این مسیر، رابطهای عاشقانه بین اونها شکل میگیره که سرنوشتشون رو تغییر میده...
یکی از نقاط قوت فیلم، کارگردانی استادانهی زمکیسه. او با دقت و وسواس، فضای جنگ جهانی دوم را بازسازی کرده و از طراحی صحنه تا نورپردازی، همه چیز رو در خدمت حال و هوای اون دوران قرار داده. مخصوصاً نیمهی اول فیلم که در مراکش میگذره، با رنگهای گرم و قاببندیهای شبیه به نقاشیهای کلاسیک، حس و حالی شبیه Casablanca رو کاملا القا میکنه.
و اما نقاط ضعف
با اینکه ماریون کوتیار در نقش زنی مرموز و فریبنده درخشان ظاهر شده و تونسته احساسات پیچیدهای رو منتقل کنه. اما برد پیت، در نقش مکس، اونطور که باید تأثیرگذار نیست. بازی اون سرد و کمجونه، این باعث شده شیمی بین دو بازیگر کمی ناهماهنگ باشه.
بعد از شروعی قوی، از نیمه دوم، فیلم یهو افت میکنه. نویسنده داستانی خلق کرده که روی کاغذ پتانسیل بالایی داره. ایدهی شک بین عشق و خیانت همیشه جذابه، اما مشکل اصلی اینجاست که فیلم، پیچیدگی دراماتیک لازم رو نداره. مخاطب به سرعت میتونه حدس بزنه که داستان به کدوم سمت میره، و درحالیکه فیلم سعی داره تعلیق ایجاد کنه، روند داستانی بهاندازهی کافی غیرقابلپیشبینی نیست، به عبارتی، فیلم خودش رو از نظر احساسی و روایی به چالش نمیکشه.
جمعبندی:
یک فیلم خوشساخت و چشمنواز که در فرم بصری موفق عمل کرده، اما از نظر احساسی و داستانی شاید اونقدر که باید تأثیرگذار نیست.

CIداستان در جریان جنگ جهانی دوم و در کازابلانکا آغاز میشود. با توجه به سابقهی برد پیت در درامهای جنگ جهانی دومی مثل Inglourious Basterds و Fury، دیدن پیت در فیلم دیگری در این ژانر، غیرمنتظره نیست، اما اتفاقِ غیرمنتظره، همراهیاش با ماریون کوتیارد است که به رابطهی آنها حالتی همفری بوگارت/اینگرید برگمنی داده است و کاری میکند تا پرسوناهای جنگی قبلی پیت را که در آنها نقش فرماندههای بیرحم و روانی را بازی میکرد، فراموش کنیم و او را در قالب یک مامور مخفی منزوی و عاشقپیشه باور کنیم.
