NASA vs My Telescope 🔭 Moon, Jupiter, Saturn & Lunar Eclipse . . NASA images vs what I captured through my 70mm telescope. Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and the Partial Lunar Eclipse — real views from my telescope compared with space agency images. This is just a fun comparison, not a competition. No AI, no fake edits, just real captures and patience. NASA or my telescope — who won? Comment below. . . . #astronomy #astrophotography #telescope #nasa #nightphotography

Capturing the Milky Way with 100MP of magic ✨ March marks the return of the Milky Way — so I drove over 300 miles to some of the darkest skies in the Southwest desert to put the Hasselblad X2D II 100C to the test. Medium format hasn’t traditionally been the first choice for astrophotography — too slow, too bulky, not built for high ISO. But that narrative is changing fast. With 100MP of resolution, over 15 stops of dynamic range, and that signature 16-bit Hasselblad color, the X2D II delivers a level of detail that’s hard to ignore. Pair it with a star tracker and Hasselblad’s new XCD 20-35mm, and the results are on another level. Expansive gallery-quality nightscapes with insane detail you have to see to believe. ⚙️: @hasselblad X2D II 100C with the XCD 20-35mm

The International Space Station transiting in front of Jupiter, the perfect Alignment! This video shows a lil behind the scenes on capturing The ISS and Jupiter I used the planetary app Stellarium and Google maps in order to calculate the path of the ISS and figure out exactly where I needed to be to capture the alignment. If I was even Just a few dozen feet off, the ISS would have flown either above or below the planet, no transit. Used my 9.25 Celestron telescope attached with a high speed astronomy camera to capture high frame rate video. And from the frames I was able to stack them and get a clearer image of the moment of Transit! #astrophotography #california #Jupiter #iss #Astro

#estrellas #astrophotography #wyoming #yellowstone #grandtetonnationalpark

That’s not a close-up of a carpet. ☀️ What you’re seeing is a "hairy" view of the Sun’s chromosphere. The dark voids are Sunspots—magnetic knots larger than Earth. They look black only because they are 2,000 degrees cooler. The swirling "hairs" are plasma trapped in magnetic loops. That white-hot flash? That’s a Solar Flare igniting. This energy release can trigger X-class solar storms. When these magnetic fields snap, they launch billions of tons of plasma. If aimed at Earth, they create Auroras but can also fry satellites. We are currently approaching the Solar Maximum in 2026. Expect more of these "monsters" to appear on the surface. Save this if you love learning things like this. Share this with someone who would find this fascinating. If a solar flare knocked out the global internet for a month, what’s the first thing you’d do? 👇 . . . . . . . #astronomy #space #science #nasa #astrophotography cosmos universe nature physics explorepage sunspots solarflare solarmaximum chromosphere solarstorm spaceweather telescope halpha solartelescope stargazing solarphotography backyardastronomy astrophoto spacefacts sciencecommunication plasma magneticfields solarcycle25 sunspotregion deepsky
