If Novak really wanted his 25th Grand Slam, he would have won it already. Even if he’s a bit below his best tennis, his mindset and desire to win are so strong that he still finds a way to raise his level! #djokovic #ausopen

The Shot That Defied Gravity! 🎾💨 Did you catch that?! We just witnessed one of the rarest and most electric moments in tennis: the "Around-the-Post" (ATP) shot! In this clip from the 2026 Australian Open, Valentin Vacherot pulled off the unthinkable against Ben Shelton. After being pulled out wide by a sharp angle, Vacherot didn't try to go over the net—he went around it. Wait... is that legal? 🤔 Yes! According to ITF Rule 25c, a return is perfectly legal if the ball passes outside the net posts, even if it stays below the height of the net cord, as long as it lands within the correct boundaries. It’s one of the few times in tennis where "staying low" is actually the winning strategy! Match Context 🇦🇺 This wasn't just any practice hit. This happened during a high-stakes Round of 16 battle at Melbourne Park. While Shelton eventually took the match in a tight three-set battle (6-4, 6-4, 7-6), Vacherot walked away with the "Point of the Tournament" trophy in the hearts of the fans. The crowd’s reaction says it all—this is why we love the Happy Slam! ©All rights to this video belong to the rightful owner. The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the tennis calendar year, setting the stage for twelve months of elite competition with a tournament that combines world-class tennis, incredible atmosphere, and the vibrant energy of Melbourne in the heart of the Australian summer. Held every January at Melbourne Park, the tournament draws the biggest names in men’s and women’s tennis to compete on its iconic hard courts, with the retractable roof stadiums and passionate crowds creating an electric atmosphere that makes every match feel like a truly special occasion. The Australian Open has established itself as one of the most beloved and anticipated events on the entire sporting calendar for fans around the world. The tournament has been the stage for some of the most iconic and emotionally charged matches in tennis history, with legends like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, and Steffi Graf all claiming multiple titles at Melbourne Park and writing unforgettable chapters of their legendary careers on Australian soil. Djokovic in particular has made the Australian Open his personal fortress, claiming a record number of titles at the venue and delivering performance after performance that has left the tennis world in absolute awe. The summer nights under the lights at Rod Laver Arena have produced some of the greatest and most memorable tennis moments the sport has ever witnessed. Beyond the tennis itself, the Australian Open delivers a full cultural celebration that makes it unique among all four Grand Slams, blending elite sport with incredible food, live entertainment, and the unmistakable warmth and passion of Australian sporting culture. Melbourne transforms into the tennis capital of the world every January, welcoming fans from every corner of the globe to share in the excitement and spectacle of the year’s first major. The Australian Open is more than just a tennis tournament — it is a celebration of everything great about the sport and a reminder that there is no better way to start a new year than with world-class tennis in one of the greatest cities on the planet. #AustralianOpen #GrandSlam #Tennis #MelbournePark #AusOpen

There is tennis, and then there’s the chess match played at 100mph between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. 🐐💨 In this iconic clip from the Australian Open, watch the sheer masterclass in court coverage and anticipation. Federer’s effortless movement and that signature smooth backhand meet the impenetrable wall of Djokovic’s defense. Every shot in this rally has a purpose—testing angles, changing speeds, and waiting for the slightest opening. It’s not just about the power; it’s about the elegance and the mental grit required to stay in a point against your greatest rival. Whether you're Team RF or Team Nole, you can't deny that when these two met on the blue courts of Melbourne, magic happened. Which of these two legends has the better backhand?
