Before February comes to an end, I want to pause and reflect on the legacy, resilience, and excellence that Black history represents — not just this month, but every day. Black History Month is about honoring pioneers who built institutions when doors were closed, who created opportunity when systems said “no,” and who believed in ownership, protection, and generational progress long before it was popular. #blackhistorymonth

On this last day of Black History Month, I look to the future with confidence & gratitude! As a black woman who grew up in El Paso, TX Pebble Hills Elementary Indian Ridge Middle School Hanks High School Left for KY and have had a rich and diverse experience in many locations, I am so happy to see so many different Black Men and Women creating safe spaces not only for Black People, but with a welcome and open heart and arms to others. It was great to be at County Commissioner meeting back in January and to hear from Judge Samaniego and the Commissioners the appreciation, they have for the black community in total, when declaring Dr. Martin Luther King Day. Love this for the region, our state and our NATION! HAPPY BLACK FUTURE EVERYBODY! Although our nation may be at war on many fronts, may we remain united, and May we all uplift each other and all of our neighbors in the borderland community throughout 2026 🙏🏾

For all 28 days of February, I intentionally posted “Happy Black History Month.” Not because it’s trendy. But because our history deserves daily acknowledgment. Especially now. Today is February 28, the final day of Black History Month, and the 100th anniversary. What began as a week became a month. But let’s be clear…Black history was never meant to be confined to 28 days. Whether you identify as Black American, African American, Foundational Black American, or a descendant of enslaved people, this month exists to honor our brilliance, our struggle, our resistance, and our resilience. We are descendants of people who survived the unimaginable, the strongest, the best. Despite systems and institutions designed to break us, we built culture. We built innovation. We built movements. We built this country. Black Americans are not a monolith, but we are undeniably the pulse of ALL American culture. What we create, the world studies, follows, imitates, and monetizes. Even though we’re given the shortest month of the year, our history does not shrink with the calendar. We celebrate 365 days. As we close out this 100th year of Black History Month, remember: we are the blueprint. Vote in the primary on March 3. This election determines who will be on the ballot in November. Black history isn’t just something we remember. It’s something we make. See you at the polls. I’m lying I early voted, but you go vote!

As Black History Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that celebrating Black history isn’t confined to just 28 days. The conversations we’ve started, the stories we’ve uplifted, and the commitments we’ve made to equity and understanding continue year-round. So let’s continue to support those Black owned businesses, uplift those Black voices, and educate ourselves and celebrate for another 100 years 🤎

As Black History Month comes to a close, the celebration does not end — because Black history is history every day. ❤️🖤💚 This month we honored pioneers, trailblazers, innovators, and everyday heroes who shaped the world with courage, brilliance, and resilience. From the past to the present, the legacy continues through our voices, our achievements, and our communities. Let’s carry the lessons, pride, and awareness forward — not just in February, but all year long. Black history is not a moment. It is a movement. #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistory365 #BlackExcellence #AfricanAmericanHistory #CelebrateBlackHistory OurHistoryOurPower BlackLegacy HonorThePast InspireTheFuture

100 years of Black History Month. And today is the last day of this year’s celebration. But let’s be clear, it’s not the last day we make history. For a century, Black builders, founders, organizers, and innovators have shaped this country, often without recognition, always with impact. And today? We’re still building. Still launching. Still funding. Still creating legacy. Black history isn’t behind us. It’s happening right now, in every founder who dares to build something that lasts. Save this. Share this. Tag a founder who is making history in real time. #BlackHistoryMonth #100YearsOfBlackHistory #BlackExcellence #CommunityOrNothing #BGV

✨ As Black History Month Comes to a Close… The Story Continues ✨ Today may be the last day of Black African American History Month, but our history does not end here. Our stories, achievements, culture, and contributions cannot be contained in just 28 days. There are too many voices, too many pioneers, too many victories, and too much legacy to fit into a single month. Black history is: 📚 Innovation and education ✊🏾 Courage and resilience 🎨 Creativity and culture 🙏🏾 Faith and community 🌍 A living story still being written every day We will continue to honor our ancestors, celebrate our leaders, uplift our communities, and share the powerful stories that shape our future — not just this month, but all year long. Because Black history is American history. Black excellence is everyday excellence. And our legacy continues… 365 days a year. 🖤 Let’s keep learning. 🖤 Let’s keep building. 🖤 Let’s keep telling our stories. #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistory365 #BlackExcellence #OurStoryContinues #CelebrateBlackHistory LegacyAndCulture HistoryInTheMaking KnowledgeIsPower CommunityStrong HonorTheLegacy @followers
