After trailing the product from his local @thwhiteagriculture dealership, he hasn’t looked back. Andrew applies Baletite, using his @mchaleofficial Fusion 4 Plus baler. He says this approach offered optimal protection to the bale, with an improved oxygen barrier compared with the net, resulting in significantly improved forage quality. At Silotite, helping farmers make more sustainable choices is always front of mind. Net replacement film (NRF) is a bale wrapping technique that does exactly that. Stuart, our technical training manager, explains that NRF’s recycle-ready design means it can be recycled alongside the outer wrap with no need to separate. Netwrap can be difficult to recycle, as it requires separation from the outer wrap, while avoiding enmeshment of forage. Entangled feed can affect the process at the recycling plant. Using NRF instead provides a clean and simple removal process, as well as offering a stronger oxygen barrier, aiding fermentation for maximised forage quality.
