Still waiting at 41 weeks 🤍Preparing for birth with my doula @emmyrobbindoula These last days have been about surrendering to my baby’s perfect timing, calming my mind, and supporting my body as we wait. This is my third pregnancy going past 41 weeks, I’ve gone past 42 weeks in my previous two We used rebozo techniques to create space and encourage baby’s optimal positioning, gentle inversions to help guide him into alignment, and sound healing to relax the nervous system and support deeper surrender before birth. Mamas who went past their due date… what helped you physically or emotionally while you waited? I would love to hear your stories —————————— Sigo esperando a las 41 semanas 🤍Preparándome para el parto con mi doula Estos últimos días han sido sobre rendirme al tiempo perfecto de mi bebé, calmar mi mente y apoyar a mi cuerpo mientras esperamos. Este es mi tercer embarazo pasando las 41 semanas, en los dos anteriores pasé las 42. Usamos técnicas con rebozo para crear espacio y favorecer la posición óptima del bebé, inversiones suaves para ayudar a guiarlo hacia la alineación, y sound healing para relajar el sistema nervioso y apoyar una entrega más profunda antes del parto. My logic says that in a time of my life wherein I'm carrying extra weight on all of my joints with a massive recovery process lying ahead after birth, it should be a time when I am super focused on strength and mobility training. I've always believed working out is a beautiful form of self respect, saying I care enough about myself to move, to grow and to show up. In this case not only for myself, but for a healthy pregnancy and to be the very best version of myself for my baby after birth. I am damn proud of 38 weeks of showing up, even though I very often didn't feel motivated. At the end of the day it's habits and self discipline that shape the course of our life, not motivation. La primera vez que escuché eso de “entrena el pujo”, pensé que era un detalle sin tanta importancia… pero luego entendí que acortar el tiempo de parto sí tiene mucho que ver con la preparación previa. Lo que realmente marcó la diferencia no fue empujar con fuerza, sino aprender a respirar de forma consciente 🌬. Durante todo el proceso, mi respiración se volvió mi ancla: cada inhalación me centraba, y cada exhalación ayudaba a mi bebé a avanzar con más suavidad. ✨ Pero no se trataba solo de respirar. Lo combiné con movimientos lentos e intencionados, que facilitaban la apertura de la pelvis, liberaban tensión en el suelo pélvico y creaban el espacio que mi bebé necesitaba para colocarse mejor. Ada banyak jenis napas: slow breathing, ujjay, napas perut, vocalizing breath, dan masih banyak lagi Dan setiap ibu akan menemukan mana yang paling pas buat dirinya — sesuai fase persalinan, kondisi tubuh, dan pengalaman emosi saat itu. 🌀 Tapi satu hal yang pasti: Napas yang paling oke adalah napas yang dinamis. Napas yang fleksibel, mengikuti alur persalinan. Kadang pelan, kadang butuh suara. 🎤 Seperti teknik vocalizing breath yang aku ajarkan di kelas napas — salah satu cara bantu tubuh rileks, panggul terbuka, dan rasa nyaman tetap terjaga. ✨ Tapi teknik ini nggak cukup cuma ditonton atau sekali belajar. Harus dilatih. Dilatih dari awal kehamilan, dan dilatih dengan kesadaran.
