Weird things that actually work - pt 1 1. Bromhidrosis is the technical name for foul body odor (from the armpits and groin…). The bacteria that live on our skin eat our sweat and produce that smell. BP wash kills the bacteria and thus reduces body odor. 2. B5 taken twice daily has some evidence behind it for helping acne. It won’t be the agent that fixes the skin (the foundational acne fixes should still be utilized). However, a lot of patients want natural supplements for issues, and this one may (may!) help. 3. Eczema or sensitive skin is a lifelong battle. Protecting your skin’s barrier is essential. Coconut oil (never olive oil!) is a natural addition to a skincare routine.
