While I cannot wait to see Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie bring these characters to life, consider this my formal plea to read the first book ASAP (or better yetโฆ the whole series). ๐๐ป
This is my favorite cozy mystery series of. all. time. ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ Each book gives the characters their own moments to shine, and by the end youโll feel like youโre part of their little retirement community too. And for the record, I have NEVER been able to fully guess the whodunnits. ๐
Whether you want to binge the series before the movie drops, or watch the movie and then fall headfirst into the books, I promise these stories are worth it!!! Cozy and hilarious, and it doesnโt hurt that cozy reading season is about to begin!! ๐โ๏ธ๐
