BR@latimesfob Bookchella Day 1 aka the largest book festival in the country was worth the hype!
There’s Five stages, author signings, live performances, book merch, food, photo opps and bookstore pop-ups like @thefleuria 😍
FYI as the day went on it got more and more crowded and it was 82 degrees 🥵 but it’s worth it.
Day 2 is today. If you’re in LA, pull up prepared and take it all in.

MYto the lady who walked up to us this morning while we were setting up —hands on her hips 🤨 looking around— and said, “I work at a booth here, and every time I walked by yesterday it was so crowded. I just don’t understand what’s in here that warrants a line like that”… I thought about you a lot today. Sometimes the imposter syndrome really hits and I fr fr don’t always understand it either. 😅🤷🏽♀️😬
what I do know is this: I will never, ever stop being thankful that people think my work is worth waiting for.
Thank you for this weekend. Thank you for supporting my little shop. This feels like a dream I never even knew I was allowed to have. I love this community. I love my job. And I love books more than I can even explain.

STStill feeling emotional after this weekend at the LA Times Festival of Books! I grew up going to this festival and being back as an adult with some of the most amazing book girlies by my side felt really special. We spent two full days soaking it all in: meeting favorite authors, listening to panels, laughing, and buying way too many books (no regrets).
There’s something magical about seeing so many people gather to celebrate stories. It reminded me of why I love books so much and how powerful it is to find your people through them.
And I could honestly cry thinking about how many people recognized @thefleuria and came up to say hi. Manifesting that next year my lil book truck will be there too!

The LA Times Festival of Books was this past weekend at USC and was jam-packed with so much bookish stuff. Booths, panels, live music and events, and more! I had a blast walking around.
I was thrilled to meet a couple of publishing clients in person, attend a HILARIOUS panel on women and crime fiction, shop for books, and more.

BOWe survived two full days at Bookchella — aka @latimesfob!
HIGHLIGHTS:
✨Meeting romance queens @alihazelwood and @jasminepics (as we were literally heading out on Sunday!). They were so kind, patiently listened to us ramble, and even took the time to snap some photos. 10/10 experiences, no notes.
✨Every. Single. Panel. (We hit six between the two of us!) The diversity of the authors, the hilarious and heartfelt conversations, and all the amazing book girlies we met in line made the whole weekend even better. We left buzzing with inspiration… and, naturally, an even longer TBR.
✨Meeting the talented @nanamalonewriter who took the time to have such a lovely (and lengthy!) conversation with us. We spoke about our love of London, needing her arm workout, and inviting her to our SD retreat in December of course!

COLA Times Festival of Books 2026 ✨
Last year I went as a reader.
This year as an author with my own booth. 🥹
So grateful to my hubby Adam for everything. ❤️ Being 7 months pregnant I’m pretty limited in what I can lift and move, and I think he almost pitched my books better than me when I had to run for bathroom breaks?! 😆 (And I kid you not, every time I slipped away I’d be gone 5 mins and there would be a line he was talking to about reading order, comps, plot, tropes, etc.)
Thank you to all the lovely readers who have been with me since the beginning who came by and said hello.🫂 And to the ones who just discovered me! Loved meeting all of you and chatting. 🥹
