ME🪨Ovo mjesto nazivaju “KAMENOM KNJIGOM” ljudske povijesti! 🇦🇿
📍Gdje se nalazi?
Gobustan National Park je jedno od najfascinantnijih arheoloških mjesta na svijetu — prava “kamena knjiga” ljudske povijesti. Nalazi se u Azerbajdžanu, oko 60 km od Baku. Poznat je po tisućama petroglifa (crteža urezanih u stijenama) koji datiraju od prije čak 40 000 godina pa sve do srednjega vijeka.
🎨 Što prikazuju crteži?
Na stijenama možeš vidjeti:
🧍♂️ ljude (lovce, plesače, ratnike)
🐂 životinje (bikove, konje, jelene, čak i lavove)
🛶 brodove – neki izgledaju kao vikinški (što je velika misterija!)
💃 scene plesa – moguće rituali ili prastari festivali
⚔️ lov i borbe
🧠 Zašto je toliko poseban?
Uvršten je na listu UNESCO-ve svjetske baštine jer sadrži više od 6.000 crteža koji pokrivaju razdoblja od paleolitika do srednjega vijeka.
🛶 “Vikinška veza?”
Neki petroglifi prikazuju dugačke čamce koji podsjećaju na nordijske brodove.
Zbog toga su neki istraživači (poput Thora Heyerdahla) nagađali da su Vikinzi možda imali veze s ovim područjem, iako to nije dokazano.
🌊 Nekada je bilo more!
Danas je Gobustan polupustinja, ali prije tisuća godina bio je zapravo ispod površine vode. Razina Kaspijskoga mora bila je viša — zato ima toliko crteža brodova.

Gobustan nije samo arheološko nalazište, to je prozor u um i život prvih ljudi. Od umjetnosti i glazbe do mogućih kontakata među civilizacijama i to sve zapisano u kamenu.

👽 “Figure bez lica”
Ove figure imaju izdužena tijela i često nemaju jasno definirana lica. Neki ljudi tvrde da izgledaju kao moderne interpretacije “vanzemaljaca”, ali znanstvenici misle da su to ritualne maske ili možda prikazi šamana.
🛸 “Lebdeće figure i simboli”
Na nekim stijenama vide se oblici koji izgledaju kao lebdeći objekti, simboli iznad ljudi te neobični geometrijski znakovi.
Postoje teorije da su to prikazi religijskih vizija, rani simbolički jezik ili jednostavno umjetnički stil tog vremena.

DAThis is Bukuroshja e Fjetur Cave, located near the village of Radavc, about 11 km from Peja. It sits close to the well-known White Drin Waterfall, making the area one of the most popular natural spots in the region. The cave is part of a larger limestone system, with explored passages stretching over 1.4 km, filled with rock formations, chambers, and underground features.
It was discovered in 1968 and has since been studied for both its geological structure and historical importance. Archaeologists have found evidence of human activity dating back thousands of years, including Neolithic remains, which adds another layer of significance beyond just its natural beauty.
It is also nicknamed the “Sleeping Beauty Cave.” The name comes from its Albanian title Bukuroshja e Fjetur, which literally translates to “Sleeping Beauty,” and is often used to make the cave more recognisable and appealing to visitors and tourists.

10Standing on a windy ridge in the Balkan Mountains, I stumbled across something unexpected — wild crocus flowers pushing up through the soil a quiet reminder that spring has arrived 🇧🇬🌸. And then, just beyond them… the unmistakable silhouette of the Buzludzha Monument.
It’s hard to describe this place. Part spaceship, part time capsule, part ghost of a different era. Built as a symbol of Bulgaria’s communist past, it once stood for power, unity, and ideology. Now, it feels more like a question mark.
What struck me most was the contrast.
Delicate crocuses at my feet. Endless mountain views stretching in every direction. And this massive concrete structure, frozen in history, sitting quietly above it all.

KAŠodien bijām Gobustanā, apmēram stundas braucienā no Baku. Tā ir vieta, kur atrodas slavenie Azerbaidžānas dubļu vulkāni un Gobustan National Park rezervāts.
Sākumā apmeklējām Gobustan muzeju. Ļoti interesants un moderns muzejs, kur stāsta par dzīvības attīstību šajā reģionā. Tur var redzēt dzīvnieku skeletus, dažādu čūsku, varžu un citu dzīvnieku iekonservētus ķermeņus, arī evolūcijas stāstu par to, kā veidojusies daba un dzīve. Ieeja muzejā maksā apmēram 10 AZN, tas ir kādi 5–6 eiro.
Pēc muzeja izgājām ārā rezervātā, kur turpat teritorijā var redzēt arī mazos dubļu vulkānus. Zeme vietām ir pelēka un saplaisājusi, un no mazajiem krāteriem lēnām burbuļo dubļi. Azerbaidžānā vispār atrodas apmēram trešdaļa no visiem pasaules dubļu vulkāniem, un liela daļa no tiem ir tieši šajā reģionā. Sajūta tiešām kā citā planētā.
Tālāk devāmies augstāk pašā rezervātā. Tur sākas pavisam cita ainava. Milzīgas klintis, akmens masīvi, vietām nelielas alas un takas starp akmeņiem. No augšas paveras ļoti plašs skats pāri apkārtnei.
Šeit atrodas arī slavenie Gobustanas petroglifi jeb klinšu zīmējumi. Daļa no tiem ir pat 10 000 līdz 20 000 gadus veci. Uz klintīm redzami cilvēki, dzīvnieki, medību ainas un pat senas dejas. Staigājot starp klintīm var redzēt arī dabiskas akmens alas, kur senie cilvēki slēpās no vēja un lietus.
Gobustan National Park ir UNESCO pasaules mantojuma vieta un viena no interesantākajām vietām netālu no Baku. Man šī vieta ļoti patika, jo vienā dienā var redzēt gan dubļu vulkānus, gan ļoti senu cilvēces vēsturi, gan pavisam citādu dabas ainavu.
