If I could start my 20s again, I wouldnโ€™t try to do more. Iโ€™d actually do less! Do less, but move faster, and have far more clarity. Hereโ€™s what I wish I understood at 20: 1. Income fixes more problems than mindset ever will.โ€จif you know me, Iโ€™m a big mindset advocate. I journal daily, have done for years. But you can journal, meditate, and read all the self help you want. If youโ€™re completely skint, your nervous system is in survival mode. You wonโ€™t be able to think clearly, youโ€™ll slip up and make mistakes thatโ€™ll end up costing you more. Your first priority should be getting your money right. Even writing it all down and planning it out helps me. After that, you can start focussing on alignment. 2. One high value skill beats ten side hustles.โ€จStop trying to be the person juggling everything. Forget the multiple streams of income bullshit. Choose one valuable skill, get good at it, get paid, then stack the next. My income didnโ€™t grow from multitasking, it grew when I locked in. 3. Your circle is importantโ€จThe biggest shortcut in life is who you spend time with. Put yourself around people who are building, ideally people you can build with when it makes sense. Your standards rise automatically. It goes the other way too, hang around with the wrong people and youโ€™ll hold yourself back in life. 4. Treat your body like an asset.โ€จNot enough people talk about this. When you eat poorly and feel poor, you make short term, low quality decisions. Discipline in fitness carries into every other part of your life. 5. Think long term.โ€จYou can spend your 20s trying to impress strangers online, or you can build something real and enjoy freedom in your 30s. Iโ€™m turning 30 soon with more clarity, peace, and money than I ever imagined, and none of it came from playing small. If youโ€™re in your 20s, bet on yourself.โ€จYou have more time than you think, but it means nothing if you waste it. No sales pitch, no courses.
