I partially tore my labrum in 3rd Phase of BUD/S back in 2007. However, over the last 15 years I’ve avoided surgery by getting rehab and modifying my workouts around the injury. Unfortunately, while doing a rope climb/stunt for a TV show we shot in Jordan last month I significantly exacerbated the tear in my shoulder and have been dealing with excruciating pain since then. Thank God for @drgabriellelyon who hooked me up with the SEAL FUTURE FOUNDATION 3 weeks ago. They both got me connected with @thehowclinic and Dr. How who provided me an alternative treatment— Placenta Stem-cell regenerative injections. The hope is that the stem cells, which were administered at key spots in my shoulder joint and at the tear will instigate regeneration. I had my last injections yesterday and SEAL Future Foundation covered ALL the costs! Now I’ll be able to eventually get back to work without pain and surgery🤞🏿. S/O to the Brotherhood for taking care of me. And if you’re looking for a foundation to donate to, check them out @sff_upstate_sc The bad news, I have to stand down from lifting the kids and all upper body workouts for the next 6-8 weeks, which means your boy is about to shrivel up😂!!!
