We make every effort to partner with growers who adhere to regenerative and biodynamic practices. Our commitment to organic farming is embedded in our identity. It’s how we started way back in 2012 in our backyard garden in Southeast Austin. At that time it was just me (Erin) and George doing everything ourselves. Today we have a very small, but very mighty team that’s highly committed to the quality of food we make and serve to you.

However the rules of the National Organic Program (NOP) changed recently and we had to re-certify with California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and we passed inspection!🙌
😎 I am very proud of being organic and providing the highest quality mushroom products possible. I follow the strict rules of CCOF, NOP, USDA, and the German: Ceres. 🌲🌲🌲
Here is the caveat: We as a society have it all backwards. 🙃 Everything should be grown organic and anything that isn’t organic needs to be labeled, 🧐and those farmers, companies and organizations should be the ones getting inspected and scrutinized.🕵️♀️
