KAKepala Departemen Politik dan Perubahan Sosial CSIS, Arya Fernandes, mengatakan program-program strategis nasional di era pemerintahan Prabowo-Gibran banyak dikendalikan pemerintah pusat, termasuk Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). Hal ini memberikan pemerintah pusat kendali yang lebih besar terhadap arah kebijakan.
Meski demikian, Arya memahami bahwa pelibatan pemerintah daerah dalam pelaksanaan program MBG memiliki risiko tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kompleksitas program yang masih baru dan anggarannya yang sangat besar.
“Nah tentu dengan panjangnya rantai komando kemudian besarnya cakupan wilayah dan apalagi besarnya SPPG (Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi) yang harus suplai 3.000 makan per satu spot, quality controlnya mungkin akan menjadi persoalan,” ungkap Arya Fernandes dalam acara Katadata Policy Dialogue “Satu Tahun Prabowo-Gibran: Mengukur Langkah Awal Prabowonomics”, pada Selasa (21/10).
Pada tahap awal, Arya mengatakan, terdapat kekhawatiran dari pemerintah pusat bahwa program ini berpotensi dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan politik praktis di daerah.

BINVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang explained why he thinks China is winning the AI race by a large margin amid the fast-changing global AI landscape during a wide-ranging conversation at a CSIS event in Washington D.C. in December.
Huang described how the global center of gravity in science and technology has been shifting, with China making rapid gains in top-tier research institutions, AI talent, and patent output over the past decade.
He highlighted key indicators of China’s growing strength — including a large base of highly qualified students, a significant share of the world’s AI researchers, and a dominant presence in recent AI patent publications.
"They have a large population of highly qualified students. Number one. Number two, 50% of the world's AI researchers are Chinese. Third, 70% of last year's AI patents are published by China. The ecosystem of AI in China is vibrant, rich, incredibly innovative. They work incredibly hard. This is a country with an enormous might," Huang asserted.
The NVIDIA founder further noted that China's rapid growth in AI coupled with the US 'evacuating' and 'conceding' the Chinese market bodes poorly for the rest of the world.
He argued that this dynamic is pushing China to build a fully independent, end-to-end AI technology stack, which could later be exported globally at scale, in turn, forcing countries globally to become "buyers" not "sellers".

KAKepala Departemen Politik dan Perubahan Sosial Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Arya Fernandes menyoroti gemuknya pemerintahan saat ini. Ia menyarankan untuk mengkaji apakah gemuknya pemerintahan dapat menyokong target Indonesia Emas pada 2045.
“Apalagi kalau kita lihat dalam satu tahun terakhir itu saya kira cukup sulit untuk Presiden melakukan monitor pada 49 kementerian itu. Gimana caranya itu?” ucap Arya Fernandes dalam acara Katadata Policy Dialogue “Satu Tahun Prabowo-Gibran: Mengukur Langkah Awal Prabowonomics”, pada Selasa (21/10).
Menurut Arya, banyaknya jumlah kementerian membuat Presiden Prabowo Subianto akhirnya hanya memfokuskan prioritas pada delapan program Asta Cita dan kementerian-kementerian yang berkaitan langsung dengan program tersebut.
Untuk mencapai visi Indonesia Emas 2045, menurut Arya ada sejumlah indikator yaitu pendapatan setara negara maju, penurunan kemiskinan dan kesenjangan, nol emisi bersih, peran kepemimpinan global, serta peningkatan daya saing sumber daya manusia (SDM).
