“Your stitches healed… but is your scar actually healthy?” Stitches closing does NOT always mean internal healing is complete. If your scar feels tight, glued down, numb, or causes pulling — it may be adhesions. And this can directly affect your Diastasis Recti recovery. We’ve shared many videos on this, yet many mothers are still confused about what to do next. So on 8th March (International Women’s Day), I’m hosting a Live DR Recovery Masterclass where I’ll teach: ✔ How to assess your scar & DR correctly ✔ What to avoid ✔ Step-by-step safe rehab plan Stop guessing your recovery. Comment “DR” for registration details. Limited seats. #DiastasisRecti #CSectionRecovery #ScarAdhesions #PostpartumHealing #DRRecovery WomensHealthPhysio InternationalWomensDay

The first walk after a C-section is something no one prepares you for. Your body has just gone through surgery, every step hurts, and sometimes tears come without warning. This was my third C-section, and the pain was just as real. But mothers still stand up and walk… not because it’s easy, but because love for their child is stronger than the pain. Today I celebrate the strength of every woman and every mother. Happy Women’s Day to the strongest creations of God. 💛 If you had a C-section, do you remember your first walk? #CSectionRecovery #MomStrength #MotherhoodJourney #StrongWomen #HappyWomensDay [C-section recovery,First walk after ,C-section,Motherhood strength ,Postpartum journey ,Strong moms]

It doesn’t get easier but you definitely get stronger… it’s been a journey and a half and I’m so glad I took my time with my recovery post c section. Here’s what I prioritised: 1. Resting and walking was all I did for a long while. 2. Got pelvic floor physio therapy and waited to get the all clear from them before I started my own training 3. Gentle movement was the name of the game. Stretches and diaphragmatic breathing being the priority early on. 4. Being a beginner again… I didn’t rush back to the weight I used to lift. I took my time building up my strength week by week 5. Consistency…. turning up was key. If all I could fit in was 10 minutes in a day it was enough.

I know postpartum can be challenging for all mamas. Truly. I’m not saying one is easier than the other - but they are in fact very, very different 🤍 A c-section recovery is next level, and now that I’ve just had my third c-section with the hardest recovery of all - I’m feeling that more than ever 🥲 And it’s not the “easy way out.” I promise you that 🙈 it grinds my gears when people say that (but that’s another post!). It’s not just having a baby. It’s having a baby… and major abdominal surgery at the same time - cutting through seven layers of your body! You can’t properly move for the first 24 hours because of a catheter and strong pain meds. The first time you stand up feels like you’ve been hit by a bus. You need help to roll over. To sit up. To get out of bed. You can’t drive for 6 weeks. You can’t pick up your other kids. You can’t twist. You can’t bend. Coughing hurts. Laughing hurts. Everything hurts 😔 You’re navigating strong meds. Protecting your incision while trying to breastfeed. Feeling the burning, the stinging, the pulling and the numbness. You’re checking your wound daily. Watching for signs of infection. Going back for staple or stitch removal. Learning how to clean and care for something that literally feels like it’s holding you together. All while bleeding. All while hormonal. All while sleep deprived. All while learning your baby. Postpartum is wild in itself. Add surgery recovery on top and it’s a whole different layer most people don’t really see or understand unless they’ve lived it 😢 This isn’t to compare. It’s just to say - it’s different. I know vaginal birth recovery can be incredibly hard too - especially with tearing, stitches or complications. This isn’t about saying one is harder than the other. It’s just about acknowledging that surgical recovery alongside postpartum is a layer that isn’t always talked about or understood. And if you’ve never had a c-section, I hope this gives a little insight into what so many women quietly push through ❤️‍🩹 If you’ve had a c-section, what part of c-section recovery did no one prepare you for? #csection #ceasarean #csectionrecovery #csectionmom #csectionmama #postpartum

“You can’t rebuild core strength after a C-section” — Biggest myth. After my C-section, my core felt weak, unstable, and disconnected. I couldn’t imagine holding this position again. But I didn’t rely on random workouts or crash diets. I followed ✔ structured core recovery ✔ consistent training ✔ and most importantly, the Transformation.guru diet Because real core recovery starts with the right nutrition. The @transformation.guru diet helped me: • reduce fat safely • improve muscle recovery • rebuild core strength • and regain confidence in my body This is not luck. This is a proven system. Comment “RECOVERY” if you want expert help to heal better after your C-section 🤍 C-section recovery is often underestimated. Yes, the incision is small compared to what your body actually went through — but this is still a major abdominal surgery layered with postpartum healing, sleep deprivation, hormonal shifts, and caring for a newborn. That’s why recovery should be intentional, not accidental. ✨ Here’s what truly helps in the first few weeks: ✔️ Use log-roll technique while getting out of bed to reduce strain on the incision ✔️ Hold a pillow against your tummy while coughing, sneezing, or laughing for support ✔️ Short gentle walks improve circulation and can reduce stiffness ✔️ Stay hydrated and include fiber-rich foods to ease constipation ✔️ Don’t ignore scar care once your doctor clears you ✔️ Ask for help — lifting, chores, and rest all matter Healing is not about “bouncing back.” It’s about rebuilding strength safely. Many moms wait until pain becomes chronic or weakness becomes normal. You don’t need to wait that long. Comment “RECOVERY” and our team will help you start your healing journey with a free consultation 💛 . . . . . . . . #csectionrecovery #postpartumhealing #cesareanrecovery #newmomcare #postpartumfitness pelvicfloorrecovery corerehab scarhealing postpartumjourney momtips motherhoodsupport indianmoms fitterher womenshealth strongmama postpartumwellness momrecovery csectionmom
