ALGOBankingRates analyzed data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Zillow, focusing on cities with at least 5,000 households to identify the 50 suburbs with the highest average household incomes.
Mountain Brook is the only Alabama suburb to make the list taking 30th place with an average household income of $302,510. According to Census data, this is nearly 5 times the state average of $62,212.

NIFollowing up on the false claim of social security recipients including millions over 100. Here I go through a very basic first order back of the envelope method to show you how one can check the number of recipients: compare to census data by age.
To approximate the number of 99-year-olds in the US, I assumed an exponential decline in population with age. Using the data that about 6.2 million people are 85 and older and roughly 100,000 are 100 and up, I estimated that there are approximately 1,000,000 people at age 85 (about 1.02 M at age 84) I then set up the equation to solve for the annual survival probability 𝑝, which came out to be roughly 0.857. This means that each year, about 85.7% of people survive to the next birthday. Applying this survival rate for 14 years (from age 85 to age 99), approximates to around 116,000 99-year-olds. This is very first order - we can change p or leave it as a function of age too, so there’s roughly a range here. A more conservative estimate places that number at around 60-80k, thus highlighting why the 50% figure. Below is a good distribution from 2020:

History has already shown us what “door-to-door” enforcement looks like when the state decides who is suspect.
In 1930s Germany, the Gestapo didn’t start with camps.
They started with lists.
With neighbors informing on neighbors.
With unannounced knocks at night.
The Gestapo went door to door using residence records, census data, synagogue lists, and denunciations to identify Jews. Homes were searched without warrants. Families were dragged out in front of their streets. Arrests were framed as “law enforcement,” but had no judicial oversight. Fear did the rest. People complied because resistance felt impossible.
This wasn’t chaos. It was bureaucracy.
Paperwork turned persecution into routine.
Normal police methods were weaponized against a targeted group.
That is why history reacts so strongly to phrases like “door-to-door.”
Because the method matters just as much as the intent.
Because once the state abandons warrants and due process, anyone can become the next name on the list.
History doesn’t repeat because people forget facts.
It repeats because they ignore patterns.
