Gordon says, “The first Bullets were unveiled in late 1932 and were the beginning of a 90 year dynasty that makes the Bullet the longest running production motorcycle model in the world. The 500, with its 4-valve cylinder head, was capable of almost 90mph in stock trim and could easily be tuned to reach the ton.
This example is one of a batch of six shipped from Redditch to Denmark and was returned to the UK about a decade ago. Early sloper Bullets had foot change gearboxes and high level pipes as standard but could be ordered, like this one, with a 3-speed hand change gearbox and low-level pipes.”
