It's my first day at the office. The office of the company I started 3.5 years ago. I was literally in a pyjama in my room in pune on a gmeet with my then college room mate @saransh.xd . I was unsure about my career since I had just left my marketing internship at @codedamn under @mehulmpt in Jan'21. I had also said no to college internships since it was pretty much a scam(PS 1, where students pay 60K INR for a 2 month unpaid internship at a company). I only had experience of growing my youtube channel and some social media design and ads stuff i learned at the prev internship. I was 19. Had clue about the next 4-5 years of my life. So me and Saransh decided to experiment with doing YouTube for companies. 2 Engineers building a marketing company. Got @kunksed 's Stoa and Coding Ninjas and Coding Blocks and GeeksForGeeks and Raj Shamani as some of our early clients. I still remember making that first invoice for 50K INR for a month for a client and Saransh asking me "bhai itna pay karega koi humko". We were doing it all on our own by this point. So we decided to hire people. @thesimonsarkar came in as the first hire, working as a graphic design intern and then becoming a program manager handling client comms. With him, came @_n.e.e.l and @k.kushal_ As fate would have it, codedamn later came back in my life. This time working with MarkitUp as a client. Took the team for an off-site last year. Dropped out of college 2 years ago to go all in. Started working with Finance companies, mutual fund companies, AI companies, individual creators like @kushallodha548 and @saptarshiux and @dr.mananvora and more. Helped them generate millions of views and conversions. Last month opened our first office in Bangalore. Feels soo unreal thinking about the journey. Brought the whole team onsite full time. These people are insane. Giving up their college placements, some didn't event go to college after 12th. All to come work here with me. God bless. This is just day one. Many more milestones to reach. No funding. No valuations. Pure value delivery. MarkitUp For the win!🚀
