But hear me clearly — the mission does not end here.
Today, they passed the baton.
Not to a government.
Not to a platform.
Not to an organization.
To us.
If you’re reading this — you too.
Because the real miracle wasn’t just the miles covered.
It was the people who came together along the way.
Strangers encouraging strangers.

Day 197 of the monks’ Walk for Peace.
They began in Texas, and today they’re making their way through Virginia on the road to Washington, D.C. The conditions have not been kind, cold, icy, and deeply uncomfortable, yet they keep walking anyway.
And still, along the roadside, the pure hearts of children showed up to welcome them with gentle compassion. A reminder that peace isn’t only a destination. It’s something we practice, person by person.
Aloka, the peace dog, needs a bit more rest right now, so he’ll be riding in the warmth of the RV during the day, and rejoining the monks each night.
We’re wishing them steadiness, safety, and strength as they continue forward, step by step.
And we are planning on being there and being part of this. Too important not to walk along.💥
