👶 Understanding Your Baby’s Cues Your baby is always communicating with you — just not with words 💙 Learning to recognise your baby’s cues can help you respond earlier, making your baby feel more settled, supported and understood. ✨ Common baby cues to look for: 😴 Tired cues • rubbing eyes • turning head away • becoming quiet or fussy • staring into space 🍽 Hunger cues • sucking hands • rooting (turning head looking for breast/bottle) • lip smacking 😣 Overstimulated cues • arching back • crying suddenly • turning away from noise or light • stiff body movements 😊 Content & happy cues • relaxed body • eye contact • soft sounds or cooing 💡 Why this matters: Responding to your baby’s early cues can help prevent overtiredness, reduce crying and support better sleep and feeding patterns. Over time, you’ll start to understand your baby’s unique signals — and that builds confidence for both of you. 💙 Every baby is different, and learning their cues is part of the journey. 🫧 In our 10 Week Healthy Baby Program, we help guide parents through understanding their baby’s development, cues and behaviours. 📌 Save this post so you can come back to it when you need it. #babycues #babydevelopment #newmumtips #parentingtips #goldcoastmums #mumlifeaustralia #newparentsupport #babybehaviour #fourthtrimester #mumcommunity #parentingjourney

5 Things New Parents Should Know 👶💛 Becoming a parent is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. A few simple reminders can make the journey a little easier. ⸻ The first weeks with a newborn are full of learning, adjustments, and lots of emotions. Every parent figures things out step by step. Here are 5 important things new parents should know: 🍼 Your baby will feed often Newborns usually feed every 2–3 hours, day and night. 😴 Sleep happens in short stretches Babies wake frequently because their stomachs are small. 😢 Crying is normal communication Babies cry to express hunger, discomfort, tiredness, or the need for comfort. 💛 You don’t have to be perfect Parenting is a learning journey for everyone. 🤝 It’s okay to ask for help Support from family, friends, or healthcare professionals can make a big difference. 💡 Helpful reminder: Every baby and every parent learns together — there is no perfect way to do everything. 🧠 Signs Your Newborn Is Growing perfectly 👶 Your baby may look tiny and fragile — but their body is doing BIG work every day. Here are normal signs that show healthy growth and development 👇 😴 Sleeps Most of the Day (14–17 hours) Newborns sleep a LOT because sleep helps their brain grow, memories form, and body develop. Long sleep hours in the early weeks are completely normal. 😮‍💨 Gets Hiccups Often Tiny hiccups happen because your baby’s diaphragm is still learning. They’re harmless and usually don’t bother your baby at all. 🍼 Feeds Very Frequently (Every 1–2 hours) A newborn’s stomach is super small, so they need small but frequent feeds to support fast growth and energy needs. 😊 Smiles While Sleeping Those sweet sleep smiles are reflexes during dream sleep and are a sign of healthy brain activity. 😢 Cries Briefly While Peeing Short fussing during urination can happen as babies adjust to new sensations. It’s normal if it passes quickly and there’s no pain or blood. 🤧 Sneezes a Lot Sneezing helps clear tiny noses from milk, dust, or mucus. It’s a protective reflex and very common in newborns. ⚖️ Gains Weight Steadily Most babies regain birth weight in 10–14 days and then gain weight consistently each week — a strong sign of good health. 🌸 Gets Baby Pimples (Newborn Acne) Small red bumps on the face come from leftover pregnancy hormones. They’re harmless and usually disappear on their own. 😮‍💨 Makes Noisy Sleep Sounds Grunts, squeaks, and noises are common as babies learn to breathe and digest outside the womb. ⸻ 💛 Important Note for Parents Every baby is different. If something feels persistent, unusual, or worrying — like poor feeding, breathing trouble, or no weight gain — always check with your pediatrician.

“Baby ka rona sirf rona nahi hota,ye unki ek language hoti hai👶💬.... Australian researcher Priscilla Dunstan ke according, newborn babies kuch specific sounds ke through apni needs express karte hain: • “Neh” – baby ko bhook lagi hai 🍼 • “Owh” – baby sleepy hai 😴 • “Heh” – baby uncomfortable hai 😣 • “Eairh” – gas ya tummy discomfort hai 🤢 • “Eh” – burp ki need 🫧 Har baby same sound follow kare, ye zaroori nahi… lekin agar aap observe karte hain, to baby ki needs samajhna kaafi easy ho jata hai ❤️.....#baby #newbornbaby #babylanguage🤷🏻‍♀️ #viral
