DAS at Disney: part 2- how to apply. This is based off applying from your phone which I recommend as you have to do a video call. Not everyone has a web cam so this makes it easier. Also make sure upu have zoom downloaded to your phone. You will need it for the call and I have never had success using the link they provide. #wdw #autismparents #floridalife #disneydas

🚨Let’s talk about DAS for both Walt Disney World & The Disneyland Resort🚨 1) Guests may have a conversation to determine eligibility up to 60 days in advance of your park visit. *For BOTH locations, you can either speak with a cast member via live video chat in order to register, or in Disneyland, you can register on-site at the Accessibility Services Kiosk. 2) DAS is valid for the length of your ticket or 1 year, whichever is shorter. 3) DAS is valid at the resort in which you’re registered. 4) The DAS maximum party size is the DAS user + 3 additional guests (4 people total). For the latest on DAS, head to undercovertourist.com, my “go to” for the latest theme park info!🐸💚 Make sure to leave any questions in the comment section below as well! #autism #autismacceptance #disneyworld #videooftheday #viralvideos

I wish this Reel had a different ending, but here’s the honest update on my most recent attempt to be approved for the Disney DAS Pass. The Cast Member actually started by asking if I was a real person because my skin looked “too perfect.” She thought I was AI. Weird start… but okay, thank you? I explained why I was requesting DAS, and she brought a medical professional onto the call. After reviewing everything, I was denied. Here’s the part you REALLY need to know. I asked if Disney now tracks approvals and denials—and the answer is yes. You are only allowed two attempts. If you are denied twice, you are locked out from applying again for 120 days. That’s essentially DAS Pass jail, so please be very intentional before you apply. This process has changed significantly, and going in unprepared can impact your ability to even reapply—especially if DAS is something you truly rely on. Save this. Share it. And follow along for honest, accessible Disney updates you won’t always hear elsewhere.

Did you know @Disneyparks offer accommodations for DAS (disability access service)?! Read below for full details. 🐭🐭🖤❤️💛 DAS is one of the programs offered at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks to accommodate those Guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time. Important info: * DAS doesn’t provide immediate access to experiences, but rather allows Guests to request a return time for a specific experience that is comparable to the current standby wait. * The Guest for which DAS is being requested must be present during registration and experience the attraction when redeeming a DAS return time at Walt Disney World theme park DAS is valid for the length of the ticket or up to 1 year, whichever is shorter. Once the service has elapsed, Guests need to re-register. Comment “PARK” for the direct link to register for DAS accommodations. 💬 Save + share to spread the info 📩 #disneyparks #accommodations #travelingwithkids #DAS #specialneeds

One of the biggest things I wish I knew before our first Disney trips was that DAS even existed and that our family qualified. The Disability Access Service (DAS) is for guests who cannot tolerate long waits in traditional lines due to a qualifying disability. You do not skip the wait, but you can wait elsewhere and return at your designated time. When you scan in for a DAS return, you enter through the Lightning Lane, not the standby line. A few key tips we learned: • You can have a total of four people in your party, including the qualifying guest. Some exceptions allow a fifth if it is a child directly related. • You can add as many people as you want to the DAS list, but only four can ride an attraction at a time. • The qualifying person always has to ride for the others to benefit. We book our first DAS selection as soon as we scan into the park, and I set a 10 minute timer after each ride so we remember to grab the next return time. Understanding how DAS works completely changed how we experience the parks. Save this if DAS might help your family plan smarter days. ✨ #DisneyWorld #WaltDisneyWorld #DisneyPlanning #DisneyTips #DAS DisabilityAccessService AccessibleTravel DisneyMom DisneyTravelPlanner DisneyWithKids MagicKingdom Epcot HollywoodStudios AnimalKingdom
