@devsday shares her honest review on our NEW Refine Texture & Pore Serum — ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Formulated with a blend of AHAs (Lactic + Gylicolic Acids)+ BHA, a pore-shrinking complex containing peptides, bio-retinol and botanical extracts, as well as rice starch and mushroom extracts which are designed to visibly tighten the look of pores, this exfoliating serum eliminates texture, visibly reducing pore size for smooth, firm skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is a thick gel-cream texture that layers well with other products. I use this 1-2x a week in the PM on nights where I am not using a retinoid. My skin is dry but acne prone, and I found this serum to be quite potent but very effective. I typically recommend AHA/BHA serums for those with normal to oily, non-sensitive skin and I would say the same is true with this serum as well. I love that it has some nice nourishing and calming/soothing ingredients in it as well to balance out the acids. We’re talking about my current favourite today for #Top2020Skincare (hosted by @goalstogetglowing and @devsday) Once my skin got used to a retinoid, I moved onto a multitasker - the @pcaski Advanced Brightening Treatment 0.5% retinol. Reasons I love it: - Retinol works with brightening niacinamide, resveratrol, and hexylresorcinol to help fade freckles and sun damage, - The 0.5% retinol is gentle enough to use several times per week for max brightening. - @seangarrette likes it 🙌🏻 I’ve yet to find something comparable at a lower price point. This does the work of 2-3 products, basically.

We love when all Angels use our products, but a standout aspect of this review is learning how @devsday adapted Instant Angel to fit her skin's needs for the season we're in. She says, "This is perfect for my PM moisturizer in the summer, but will become a daytime moisturizer in the winter, and I’ll probably layer something a bit occlusive over it at night in the winter." Figuring out what products work best for you and when is the epitome of Dieux-ing you. Keep it up, Angels!
