ARAnduril Industries has quickly become one of the most important defense-tech companies in the US.
The company builds AI-piloted autonomous systems, from drones to high-speed aircraft, and is now working on what could become the world’s first fully AI-controlled jets.
In 2025, the company secured a massive $2.5 billion Series G round led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund. This pushed its valuation to about $30.5 billion and marked one of the biggest private investments ever made in a defense startup.
The new funding is being used to scale production at Anduril’s Arsenal-1 facility in Ohio, where the company is building autonomous combat aircraft, including collaborative AI jets for the U.S. Air Force.
