And with small kids, it’s all the fun without the waits! Follow this plan and you’ll be patting yourself on the back when you’re strolling down Main Street with your coffee as the rest of the world floods the park! 👀Yes we skipped Seven Dwarfs! It’s not always a hit with littles! If your little one liked barnstormer, try snagging a single pass for later in the day, or get in line during parade/fireworks for shortest wait times! 1. MagicBands I haven't bought a new magicband in years. The MagicBand I'm currently using is from like circa 2015... (yikes) but it still works great! I also rotate between using MagicMobile on my phone or a physical pass. For me, the price of a new MagicBand just isn't worth it! 2. Ponchos I will never pay the upwards of $12-15 for a rain poncho in the park when I can buy them at the dollar store. I know the park ones are cute, but when I was a CM I used to cringe every time I sold through a rush of ponchos. 3. Water bottles I never pay for water bottles in the park, instead I take advantage of the free ice water you can get from any quick service location! The price tag on water bottles isn't worth it in my opinion when you can get water for free. 4. Prepackaged snacks Don't get me wrong, I'm all here for the cheeseburger spring rolls and churros. However, anything I can buy outside of the parks and bring with me, I do. For example, I bring granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers, etc. 5. Disney Gift Cards I never pay full price for Disney gift cards! There are sooo many ways to find discounted Disney gift cards to save a little extra money before your trip. Personally, I buy mine through my credit unions cash back program or RaiseRight! You can also find discounted gift cards at retailers like Costco, Sam's, and Dining Dollars (when using Undercover Tourist). What is something you will never buy in the Disney parks?? Here’s what you need to know ⬇️ 🥤These mugs are not to be used for free refills in the parks. You’re simply just not allowed. You can only use them for free refills at Disney resort hotels. 🥤The mugs are only “activated” for the length of your stay (up to 14 days). Apparently the mugs have a chip inside that lets the drink dispensers know the mug is active, and once your stay ends, the drink dispensers won’t dispense anymore. 🥤Refills you are allowed are: soda, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water (but again, only at any resort beverage stations). 🥤You can bring the mugs into the parks, you just can’t use it for free refills there. 🥤The exception is water. You can ask for cups of ice water at quick-services and restaurants, and can use water refill stations throughout the park.
