This is probably the easiest ‘Doukissa’ recipe made with only 4 basic ingredients and tastes absolutely delicious because one of them is Nutella! [🇬🇷 Below] Ingredients: • 300 gr Casino Petit Beurre Biscuits • 150 gr Casino Dark Chocolate • 400 gr Nutella • 1/3 cup of milk • 3 tbsp brandy (optional) • Casino cocoa powder (for decor) Break the biscuits into small pieces and pour the milk over them until they are slightly softer. You can also add brandy to the milk for extra flavor. Melt the dark chocolate and pour it over the biscuits along with the Nutella. Mix well and pour everything into a cake pan lined with parchment paper. Chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder and enjoy! Συστατικά: • 300 γρ. μπισκότα Casino Petit Beurre • 150 γρ. Casino μαύρη σοκολάτα • 400 γρ. Νουτέλα • 1/3 φλυντζάνι γάλα • 3 κ.γ. brandy (προεραιτικό) • Casino cocoa powder (για διακόσμηση) Σπάστε τα μπισκότα σε μικρά κομματάκια και περιχύστε από πάνω το γάλα μέχρι να μαλακώσουν. Blend biscuits into small pieces. 2. Place a pan on high heat and add milk and sugar mixing constantly. When the milk is warm add vanilla and butter until the butter melts. 3. Add cocoa and milk chocolate mixing again until everything melts. 4. Keep 3 tbsp of the chocolate sauce. 5. Pour chocolate mixture over the biscuits and combine. 6. In 2 heart shape trays 11cm place baking paper. Add 2 tbsp of the sauce you saved. Add chocolate/biscuit mixture. 7. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. 8. Swap your normal cake for a healthier alternative 😉 🍰 This is a remake of a Cypriot ‘doukissa’ or otherwise known as a chocolate biscuit cake! 🔖 Save to make this again at a later time, or just go ahead and make it tonight 🙊 Simply boil 300g, peeled and cored, apples 🍎 Then in a blender (or a nutribullet) blitz the softened apples into a puree Now melt 500g dark chocolate 🍫 Now add the chocolate to the apple puree and blitz again! Break up 300g digestive biscuits and slowly fold into your chocolate mousse mixture, and then transfer into your desired dish Refrigerate for 2 hours and then enjoy! 🙌

CHOCOLATE SALAMI Log/Cake 🍫 INGREDIENTS • 140g tea biscuits • ¾ cup toasted pistachio & walnuts • ¼ cup / 25g of cocoa powder • 100g dark/ milk chocolate (preference is milk chocolate) • 1 espresso shot • 2 TBP/ 30g butter • ½ cup / 100g heavy cream • 1 TBP vanilla/ rhum • ¼ tsp salt • ¼ cup / 50g sugar • Powdered sugar, for coating METHOD 1. In a pot add chocolate, sifted cocoa, sugar, salt, butter, heavy cream, vanilla/ rhum, a shot of espresso. Bring to a simmer until all is melted. Whisk till smooth. 2. In a separate bowl, coarsely crush tea biscuits with your hands. 3. Add biscuits to the wet ingredients. Add the nuts (optional) and combine. 4. Spread the mixture out on parchment paper and shape it into a log. 5. Roll up the paper then in plastic wrap, shaped like candy. 6. Place in the fridge for at least 4 hours until firm. 7. After chilling, remove log from the paper, dust with icing sugar from all sides. Slice into pieces and serve. 8. Keep in the fridge or freezer. [AD - PR SAMPLE] Doukissa or Kormos aka Greek version of Chocolate Salami Kormos, as its most commonly known in Niki's hometown Thessaloniki, is a beloved dessert in Greece with many local variations. Today, we're sharing a version made with double cream and it is delicious 😄 We used some of the products that Greek Deli 2 U @greekdeli2u kindly sent us for this recipe. For this recipe you will need: • 300g dark chocolate • 200ml double cream • 20g unsalted butter • 2-3tbsp icing sugar (you can use more if you want it sweeter) • 1tbsp orange liquer or cognac • 200g biscuits (traditionally we use petit beurre, but we used a mix for more variety) • 70g hazelnuts, roughly chopped Method: • Add the chocolate and butter in a bowl sat on a pan of gently simmering water (bain marie). Stir until very smooth and remove from the heat. • Gently heat the cream and stir into the chocolate mix until all incorporated. • Crush roughly the biscuits into bite sized pieces. • Stir in the biscuits, nuts, sugar and liqueur. Let it cool until it begins to firm up. • Lay a long piece of cling film and a baking paper one on top the other. Use a stiff spatula to scrape the chocolate mixture into a rough log shape on the paper to make a cylinder “salami” shape - make it as thick as you wish, ours was about 7cm. • Lift the edge of the cling film over the log and roll to wrap tightly. Twist the ends to remove any air and compress the log into a smooth and even cylinder. •  Once the log is wrapped, roll it on the counter under your palms a few times to make a smooth cylinder. Repeat this process a couple of times more for the best shape. • Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
