The set starts with dim sum like Baked Barbecued Pork Bun and Steamed Pork and Shrimp Dumpling with Scallop and Fish Roe, then follow with wok-fried dishes such as Soft Scrambled Egg with Prawn and fried shrimp balls and Duddell’s XO Sauce Stir-fried Pork Collar, Cashew Nuts, Chives and Dried Shrimp. The set ends with a refreshing and chilled Mango Sago Cream. (ภาษาไทยในคอมเมนต์) A Chinese restaurant that creates meals for Cathay Pacific’s Business and First Class and even has its own art space ✨ @duddellshk Hong Kong is a 1 Michelin Star Cantonese restaurant with a really great vibe. It feels like a place where food lovers, art people, and the business crowd all come together. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Chan Yau Leung. This time I came for lunch. And honestly, when in Hong Kong… dim sum is a must 🥟 The pan fried wagyu bun was so good, crispy on the bottom with super juicy filling inside. The scallop siu mai was another favorite, sweet scallops and a really generous size. The char siu was smoky, tender, and beautifully glazed. But the real highlight was the crispy chicken. The chef pours hot oil over the chicken more than 300 times to get the skin incredibly thin and crispy, while keeping the meat juicy inside. The restaurant has two floors. Level 3 is the main dining room where I had lunch, while Level 4 is The Upper Room at Duddell’s, a more casual space with an outdoor terrace. This is one of those restaurants that really captures Hong Kong energy through the food, people, and atmosphere. I love both the food and the interior here. The service needs improvement, I think they are overwhelmed with everything just happening at once. They need a couple of team members on the floor. . As for the food, I would say nothing stood out as outstanding but will say the food is above average. Last night was truly unforgettable at The Upper Room at Duddell’s @duddellshk @michelinguide ! 🌟 We had a lovely time at this One MICHELIN-starred gem in the heart of Hong Kong @michelinguide . 🏙️🍽️ We indulged in an incredible set menu that celebrated the best of Cantonese cuisine, and every dish was a masterpiece! 🎨✨ First up was the Steamed Pork and Shrimp Dumpling with Australian scallop and fish roe. 🥟 Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors! Next, we savored the Baked Barbecued Pork Bun—crispy on the outside and bursting with savory goodness inside. 🍖💖 The Steamed Cabbage Dumpling with fungus was light and refreshing, perfect for balancing the richer flavors. 🥬✨ Then came the Soft Scrambled Egg with Prawn, which was creamy and delicious—definitely a crowd favorite! 🍳😍 We couldn’t get enough of the Duddell’s X.O. Sauce Stir-Fry with pork collar, cashew nuts, and chives. 🌶️🥜 The flavor explosion was simply unforgettable! The Ma La lobster spring roll was especially good and mouthwatering.
