While the ED has linked Arora to businessman Gaurav Dhir in an investigation involving a ₹130 crore real estate deal and alleged land-use fraud, Arora maintains that his relationship with Dhir is purely personal and spans over two decades without any professional or financial ties. During a press conference in Chandigarh, the Minister accused the central government of manipulating ED statements to include his name as a tool for political intimidation. Despite the recovery of significant cash and documents during the multi-location search, Arora remains defiant, challenging the agency to produce concrete evidence while offering his full cooperation to prove his innocence.
