Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @astro_christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @astrovicglover was in window 3 watching with @astrojeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

“We do not leave Earth. We choose it.” 🌏⁣ ⁣ During the lunar flyby on April 6, 2026, the Artemis II crew captured stunning views of Earth and the Moon before and during Earthset, when Earth dips below the lunar horizon. On Earth, parts of Australia and Oceania are visible while the dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime.⁣ ⁣ After a planned loss of signal while the Orion capsule was behind the Moon, @astro_christina shared this message as soon as mission control reacquired signal with the Artemis II crew. Her first words? “It is so great to hear from Earth again.”⁣ ⁣ #NASA #Artemis #Earthrise

EARTHSET. April 6, 2026. This is humanity from the other side. Captured from the Orion spacecraft as Earth dips beyond the lunar horizon, this is the first photo from the far side of the Moon in the 21st century. We are no longer looking at the grainy archives of 1969; we are witnessing our home in high-definition reality. While the Apollo era established our first footprints, Artemis II is bringing the world along for the journey in 4K. Onboard the capsule are Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen who are currently the farthest humans from Earth in history. The Moon is the proving ground. Mars is the destination. And this is the view that reminds us why we go. #fyp #artemis #moon #space #nasa

Feline aggression is a complex behavioral issue that can stem from various underlying triggers, ranging from territorial instincts and fear to medical discomfort or redirected frustration. When a cat feels threatened or overstimulated, it communicates its distress through a distinct set of physical signals, such as flattened ears, a puffed tail, dilated pupils, and vocalizations like hissing or growling. It is crucial for owners to recognize that aggression is often a defensive mechanism rather than a sign of malice; for instance, "play aggression" occurs when a cat's natural hunting instincts are misdirected toward human hands or feet, while "petting-induced aggression" happens when a cat reaches its sensory limit and suddenly reacts to touch. Managing an aggressive cat requires a patient, multi-faceted approach that prioritizes identifying the root cause and modifying the environment to reduce stress. If the behavior is sudden, a veterinary consultation is essential to rule out hidden pain or illness, which frequently causes irritability in pets. Behavioral strategies often involve providing ample vertical space, like cat trees, to help the cat feel secure, and using positive reinforcement to reward calm behavior. It is vital to avoid physical punishment, as this typically escalates the animal's fear and worsens the aggression; instead, owners should focus on consistent routines and structured play sessions using wand toys to provide a safe outlet for predatory energy. #nature #earth #wildlife #animals #dark

The deep sea is one of the last true frontiers on Earth. It’s a place where humans have barely set foot, and where nature has taken a completely different path. Creatures here are unlike anything we see on land. They are built for survival in the harshest conditions imaginable. From glowing fish to giant predators, the deep ocean is full of life that feels almost unreal. And yet, this is our planet. The more we learn, the more we realize how little we know. The ocean is not just deep—it’s full of secrets waiting to be discovered. 👉 Follow for more @brutaldeepsea 🎥 Credits to respective owners #deepsea #oceanmystery #viral #fyp

We’re about to fly around the Moon. On Monday, April 6, the four astronauts of Artemis II will travel farther from Earth than any humans in history—breaking the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970. They’ll sail around the far side of the Moon, photographing lunar features never before seen by human eyes. At their closest point, they’ll pass roughly 4,000 miles above the lunar surface. #space #moon #artemis #spaceexploration #rocket

✨💫🤯🛰️Earth once wore rings, now lost to time! Around 450 million years ago, during a time of intense cosmic activity, Earth may have briefly worn a spectacular set of rings similar to Saturn’s today. In the early solar system, our planet was frequently bombarded by asteroids and debris—some of which carried essential ingredients for life. But one encounter may have been far more dramatic. A large asteroid or minor planetary body passed too close to Earth and was torn apart by tidal forces, a process similar to what happens near massive planets. The shattered fragments didn’t immediately fall to Earth. Instead, they spread out and formed a vast, glowing ring system encircling the planet. These rings would have been visible from the surface—an awe-inspiring band stretching across the sky, constantly shifting as particles orbited above. For a time, Earth may have looked more like a miniature Saturn, adorned with cosmic debris. However, such beauty was temporary. Over time, Earth’s gravity began reclaiming this material through a process known as “ring rain,” where particles slowly spiraled inward. As they entered the atmosphere, many would burn up, while larger fragments could impact the surface. Eventually, the rings faded away completely, leaving no visible trace behind. Interestingly, this same process is happening to Saturn today. Its iconic rings are gradually losing material, slowly raining down onto the planet. Billions of years from now, Saturn’s rings may vanish—just like Earth’s ancient rings once did, reminding us that even the most stunning features in our solar system are only temporary.🌀🚀📡🌌☀️🌞🌟🌠💥 #astronomy #astrophotography #universe #space #blackhole

😨 Animals That Are On the Edge of Disappearing 🌍⚠️ No one can truly “set a date” for extinction like 2027… but some species are already so critically endangered that scientists warn they could vanish very soon if nothing changes. 🦈 Vaquita: The rarest marine mammal on Earth, trapped in illegal fishing nets 🐅 Amur Leopard: Fewer than 100 left, surviving in isolated forests 🦏 Javan Rhino: Around 70–80 individuals in one protected habitat 🦍 Tapanuli Orangutan: Extremely rare, threatened by deforestation 🐦 Kakapo: A flightless parrot surviving only through strict conservation efforts ⚠ The Reality: Extinction doesn’t happen overnight — it’s a slow collapse caused by habitat loss, hunting, pollution, and climate change. Once a species is gone… there is no replacement. 💬 Which animal do you think deserves more protection? 👉 Follow @decodingwrlds for more wildlife truths, endangered species, and nature’s hidden battles. . . . #wildlife #endangeredanimals #extinction #naturetruth #fyp
