MY“Can you believe I’M picking out wedding rings?! I never thought I’d see the day 😂 which is why the decision is so hard, so please help me decide!
We flew over to Portland specifically to see these eco-conscious rings, after finding my dream vintage-looking lab grown diamond ring last year when my fiancé first started non-sneakily asking for my ring size…. That’s a long story (which is written on my blog), but a year later we finally came and got it! And on top of that, it’s time to choose our wedding bands as well!
I was drawn to @miadonnadiamond first because of the specific style – their Precious Engagement Ring I had found and loved — and then became a bit obsessed when I read about their story. They are female-founded and run, and their founder actually pioneered the inception and creation of the first lab-grown diamonds, with the goal of reducing the purchasing of earth-mined diamonds, which destroy the Earth and lives of the miners who dig for them.
Ten percent of their net profits goes towards restoring areas destroyed by diamond mining, and also, their metals are mostly recycled, which reduces the need for gold mining!
So! With that eco-consciousness in mind, I felt this was the perfect fit for my one and only wedding rings!

SAI’m very excited to be working with @wollaustralia to bring you all my Smokey one pan prawns made in their new Eco Logic Fry Pan. If you are looking for a great non-stick pan, look no further.
Please see recipe below;
Serves (2-3 peoole)
Ingredients:
14-16 prawns
1 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 brown onion diced
4 cloves of garlic finely chopped/grated
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons of good quality olive oil
200ml dry white wine
200ml vegetable stock
Salt and pepper
Parsley to serve
1 lemon to serve
Crusty bread to serve
Method: 1. Peel and clean your prawns, set aside the shells. In this recipe I kept the tail and prawn heads on but you can remove if preferred.
2.Heat up your ecologic pan on medium and add prawn shells.
3.Cook prawn shells for a few minutes or until aromatic. 4.Deglaze your ecologic pan with the wine and stock.Sieve the prawn shells, and set aside prawn stock liquid.
5.Add olive oil and onion to your egologic pan and saute until translucent, then add garlic and tomato paste.
6.Add your prawn stock liquid and reduce until half. 7.Add your prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes or until just cooked.
8.Season you dish with salt, pepper and lemon. Garnish with parsley and enjoy with crusty bread. @wollaustralia #WOLL #ad #ecologic
