1. If you’re running late, you can almost guarantee you’ll get stopped by a train.
2. A windy day means there’s a higher likelihood of smelling dog food.
3. Edmondites are coffee snobs because we have lots of great local options… Evoke, Ellis Island and Aspen Coffee to name a few.
4. There’s one thing we can all agree on….we aren’t happy with whoever made the decision to paint the movie theater at Danforth and Bryant.
5. There’s an unofficial (friendly) rivalry between East and West Edmond.
6. The East/west streets change names depending on which side of Edmond you’re on….and if you live in the East, you can never remember what the number equivalent is on the West.
7. Edmondites like to brag about being in the unofficial tornado bubble. For whatever reason, Edmond sees less tornados than other parts of the metro. #knockonwood
8. We take golf seriously in Edmond, as Oklahoma’s golf capital.
9. Downtown Edmond used to be a bit of a ghost town and is now actually really cool.
10. There seems to always be a rumor going around about Trader Joe’s coming to Edmond but never any solid evidence.
11. Edmond is all fun and games until you get your utility bill in August.
