The fastest a human has ever run is 44.7 km/h, but scientists found out humans could run a lot faster! In 2009, Usain Bolt broke the world record by running 100 meters in 9.58 seconds, reaching a top speed of 44.7 km/h — that's more than twice as fast as the legal e-scooter limit and almost as fast as a charging grizzly bear. But scientists wanted to know how much faster humans could go—and they found something surprising. Turns out, it's not muscle strength that's holding us back—our legs can generate way more force than we use during a sprint. The real limit is how fast our muscle fibers can contract. During a sprint, your foot touches the ground for less than 0.1 seconds—that's all the time your muscles have to generate force. Scientists discovered we apply 30% more force when hopping than running. If we could apply that force while running, humans could theoretically reach speeds of 65 km/h—that's faster than a grizzly bear can run. #usainbolt #fastestman #sciencefacts #educational #learnsomethingnew #learn

Energy transfer becomes most efficient when the frequency of a driving force matches the natural frequency of a system — a phenomenon known as resonance. At this point, even a small input of energy can produce a large response because the system vibrates in sync with the applied force. This principle explains how a swing moves higher with properly timed pushes, how musical instruments amplify sound, and how tuning circuits in electronics work. When frequencies do not match, energy is still transferred, but much less efficiently. #learn #frequencies #knowledge #educational

Disney and Pixar often sneak in subtle jokes that go right over kids’ heads but land perfectly with adults. 🎬 These “double-layer” jokes use clever wordplay, cultural references, or slightly more mature humor that feels harmless to younger viewers but adds an extra layer of enjoyment for parents. It’s a way to keep the whole audience engaged, making their films just as entertaining for adults as they are for kids. That balance is part of why their movies feel timeless… you can watch them at any age and still catch something new each time. Let us know your thoughts below! • #explore #reels #educational

Concave mirrors are curved inward and have the unique ability to bring parallel light rays together at a single point called the focal point. When light rays strike the surface of a concave mirror, they reflect inward and converge, which is why these mirrors are also known as converging mirrors. This property of converging light makes concave mirrors very useful in many practical applications. For example, they are used in car headlights and flashlights to focus light into a strong beam. They are also used in shaving and makeup mirrors to produce a larger and clearer image of objects placed close to them. In scientific experiments, concave mirrors clearly demonstrate how light behaves upon reflection. By using laser beams or parallel light rays, we can observe how the rays meet at a focal point after reflection. This helps in understanding important concepts of optics and the behavior of light in a simple and visual way. #science #learning #educational

We made a real cloud! ☁️ When Dr. Tatiana pours liquid nitrogen onto the carpet, it creates a thick cloud that looks like smoke. However, this is a real cloud, made of condensed water vapor, just like the clouds in the sky. Liquid nitrogen is about 400°F colder than the temperature of your skin, so when it evaporates and turns into (invisible) nitrogen gas, it rapidly cools everything around it. Water vapor in the air gets cooled and condenses into tiny liquid droplets, forming the visible cloud. 👍 LIKE and FOLLOW if you love #science! ➡️ Follow links at linktr.ee/tamuphysastr or link in bio. #tamu #physics #scientist #tamuphysics #reels #reelsinstagram #teachersofinstagram #teachers #education #educate #educational #learn #learnoninstagram #shorts #fyp #fypシ #foryou #foryoupage #experiment #DrTatiana #cloud #liquidnitrogen

Its history stretches back over a millennium, with the first records of its production dating to the year 879, making it the oldest known blue cheese in the world. Traditionally made from cow’s milk, Gorgonzola develops its signature blue veining through the introduction of Penicillium cultures, giving it both its striking appearance and complex taste profile. Over the centuries, Gorgonzola has become an iconic ingredient in Italian cuisine, enjoyed in everything from risottos and pastas to salads and cheese boards. Its rich heritage and unique flavor have earned it Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, ensuring that only cheeses produced in specific regions of Italy can bear the Gorgonzola name. Today, it remains a beloved cheese worldwide, admired not only for its historical significance but also for its bold, creamy character that continues to captivate cheese enthusiasts. #cheese #italy #didyouknow #educational #food

Newton’s First Law of Motion states that an object will stay at rest or keep moving in a straight line at a constant speed unless an external force acts on it. This means objects naturally resist changes in their motion, a property called inertia. For example, a book on a table will stay still until someone pushes it, and a moving ball will keep rolling until friction or another force stops it. This law was described by Isaac Newton and is one of the three basic laws that explain how motion works. #lawofinertia #physics #educational #learn
