Ihr redet von Work-Life-Balance. Ihr habt Yoga-Kurse und Massagen. Obstkorb und Kicker-Tisch. Alles Bullshit! Weißt du, was echtes Employee Wellbeing wäre? Wenn eure Mitarbeiter sich Sonntags und nach dem Urlaub wieder auf den Job freuen. Wenn sie morgens aufwachen und sich freuen statt sich zu quälen. Wenn sie abends nach Hause kommen und noch Energie haben für ihr eigenes Leben. Wenn sie nicht mehr krank werden vor Stress. Wenn sie nicht mehr davon träumen zu kündigen. Aber das ist nicht euer Ziel. Euer Ziel ist, sie gerade glücklich genug zu halten, dass sie nicht gehen. Der Obstkorb ist nicht für sie da. Er ist da, damit sie sich schuldig fühlen, wenn sie unzufrieden sind. Das Yoga ist nicht für sie da. Es ist da, damit ihr sagen könnt: "Wir tun doch was für euer Wohlbefinden." Die flexible Arbeitszeit ist nicht für sie da. Sie ist da, damit sie auch abends und am Wochenende erreichbar sind. Echtes Employee Wellbeing würde bedeuten: Eure Leute sind so zufrieden, dass sie gar nicht weg wollen. Ziemlich radikal, oder? Vermutlich und so schwarz ist es sicher auch nicht. Doch sei mal ehrlich: Wie viele Menschen kennst Du, die sich nach dem Urlaub wieder auf die Arbeit freuen? Tag 10 auf meinem Jakobsweg und ich weiß: Echtes Wellbeing findest du nicht im Büro.
