Her world changed in a moment when she was diagnosed with early stage cervical cancer. The fear was real, overwhelming, and deeply personal… but so was the hope, because it was found in time 🤍 Early detection gave her a second chance. She received treatment when it mattered most, and today she is healthy, smiling, and living her life fully again. But her story did not end with recovery. It became a story of love, strength, and protection. Her husband and son chose the HPV vaccine, taking a step to safeguard their family’s future. This is what awareness looks like. This is what support feels like. This is what love in action truly means. Do not wait. Early screening can save lives. HPV vaccination can help prevent cervical cancer. Protect yourself. Protect the ones you love. #onelessworry #CervicalCancerAwareness #HPVVaccine EarlyDetectionSavesLives #CervicalCancerPrevention CancerSurvivorStory WomensHealth PreventCervicalCancer FamilySupport HealthAwareness ScreeningSavesLives EndCervicalCancer CAPED

A cancer that is largely preventable still claims ~80,000 lives of women in India every year. Cervical cancer remains the second most common cancer among women in India, with nearly 1.2 lakh new cases diagnosed annually. Persistent infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV)—especially types 16 and 18—is responsible for most cervical cancer cases. The good news is that the HPV vaccine is highly effective (93–100%) in preventing these infections. The nationwide HPV vaccination campaign launched by the Government of India on February 28, 2026 is an important step toward protecting the next generation. With vaccination, regular screening, and timely treatment, cervical cancer can become one of the most preventable cancers. Let us spread awareness and encourage HPV vaccination. . . 🎗️ Cervical Cancer Awareness Initiative Cervical cancer continues to be a major health challenge in India. The Southeast Asia region contributes nearly 29.59% of global cervical cancer cases and 34.12% of deaths, with over 1.27 lakh new cases and nearly 80,000 deaths reported in India (2022). Many women are diagnosed at advanced stages due to limited screening, lack of awareness, sociocultural barriers, and delays in follow-up treatment. To change this reality, India has taken a major step forward. 🇮🇳 National HPV Vaccination Campaign Launched Announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 28, 2026 (Ajmer, Rajasthan), the initiative will provide FREE HPV vaccination for 14-year-old girls across the country. ✔ Early vaccination ✔ Improved screening methods ✔ Increased awareness ✔ Stronger treatment pathways Together, these efforts can significantly reduce cervical cancer cases and save thousands of lives. 💙 Let’s spread awareness and encourage prevention. #CervicalCancerAwareness #HPVVaccine #WomenHealth #PreventCervicalCancer #HealthForAll HPVVaccination IndiaHealthMission WomenSafety PublicHealth CancerPrevention

Did you know that one of the most preventable cancers has a vaccine? But still most people are unaware about it! Most cases of Cervical Cancer are caused by the Human papillomavirus (HPV). This virus infects cervical cells and, over time, can lead to cancer. The good news? HPV vaccines train the immune system to recognize the virus before infection happens, helping prevent the high-risk HPV types responsible for most cervical cancers. With vaccination programs expanding in India, awareness is more important than ever. “Would you like more reels on science behind vaccines and cancer prevention? Cervical cancer is preventable and it starts with awareness. The Government of India has initiated the national rollout of the HPV vaccine for young girls, taking a crucial step toward a cancer free future. Did you know? Nearly 99% of cervical cancer cases are caused by HPV and vaccination can significantly reduce this risk. Safe. Effective. Backed by science. With over 100 million doses administered globally and 20 plus years of research, the HPV vaccine is a proven shield. The right time is now. Vaccinating girls between 9 to 14 years can offer long term protection and in many cases even a single dose is enough. Let’s protect the next generation. A simple step today can save lives tomorrow. #HPV #HPVVaccine #CervicalCancerAwareness #PreventCervicalCancer #GOI GovernmentOfIndia NITIAayog PMOIndia JPNadda ICMR WHO UNICEF VaccinationDrive PublicHealthIndia WomensHealth CancerPrevention HealthAwareness AdolescentHealth Immunization HealthyIndia

You may have heard about vaccines that can prevent or treat cancer. Research is progressing rapidly, and several cancer vaccine trials are currently underway around the world. However, at present, there is only one widely available vaccine that prevents cancer — the HPV vaccine, which protects against the human papillomavirus responsible for most cases of cervical cancer and some other cancers. At Aariv Neuropsychiatry & Cancer Care, we believe in sharing accurate, evidence-based information so patients can make informed decisions. #CancerAwareness #HPVVaccine #CervicalCancerPrevention #CancerResearch #OncologyCare
