イタリア、フィレンツェで1953年に創業したトラウザーズ専業ファクトリー、GIAB’S（ジャブス）社。そのDNAを受け継ぐブランドが、いまや僕らに欠かせない存在となった「giabsarchivio（ジャブス アルキヴィオ）」です。60年以上にわたりパンツ一筋で培った技術は、シルエットの美しさや、穿き心地の良さに表れていて、数々の有名メゾンからの厚い信頼を得てきたというのも納得です。
そんなジャブスと僕、菅原靴店のトリプルコラボで、日本の都会的な風景に似合う今ほしいアイテムをカタチにしたのがこの別注シリーズ。
まず紹介したいのがジャージー素材のジョガーパンツです。以前からジョガーは人気が高く、僕自身もライダースに合わせて愛用していました。ただ「もっとこうしたい」という思いが募り、2シーズン前にイチから別注としてつくり込んだのがこのモデルなんです。
後ろにはファスナーポケットやD冠、両玉縁ポケットを備え、カジュアルに見えがちなジョガーパンツに端正な表情を与えました。シルエットもかなりこだわっていて、さらにハイブランドでも使われる上質なジャージー生地を採用することで、大人が街で堂々とはける一本になったと思います。
そして今回、このジョガーに合わせるボンバージャケットも同素材で製作。MA-1を想起させるデザインをベースにして、袖のユーティリティポケット（シガレットポケット）はあえて省きミニマルに仕上げました。
少しだけオーバーサイズ気味で、中には白Tを合わせるくらいのシンプルなコーディネイトがおすすめです。ジョガーパンツとセットアップとしても楽しめますし、単品使いでも活躍してくれると思います。リラックス感がありながらも、ストイックさも感じさせる絶妙なバランスが魅力です。
さらに、このトリプルコラボでは定番人気ともいえるイージートラウザーズも継続しています。前後永久クリースを備えたノープリーツパンツで、毎シーズン素材を替えて展開。今シーズンはウールジャージーやツイード調の生地で仕立てていて、よりシックな表情を楽しめます。こちらもぜひチェックしてみてください。
