IAWe attended our first homeschool convention!
I never thought I would be homeschooling my kids. After schools shutdown in 2020 we grew so close as a family.
Once schools opened back up it was a hard adjustment for all of us.
So moving to Florida gave us a chance to try a different approach.
It has been an amazing year. Homeschooling has allowed us to be togther as a family, to focus on the quality of education and to make meaningful connections between content learned and application in real life scenarios.
I am not saying one approach is better then another. The beauty of choices is getting to choose the approach that works best for your family. This is what is best for my kids right now and we will keep going until it doesn't work anymore.
If you're considering trying homeschooling it's not as scary as it may seem. I found lots of support and resources in local homeschool groups on Facebook.
