Feeling like a fairytale 🏰 🏔️ Welcome to car-free Braunwald, Switzerland, home to the cutest family hotel on earth - Märchenhotel Braunwald. When we say “family hotel,” we mean a hotel specifically designed for and catering to families that want to explore and play in one of the most awe-inspiring environments on earth. There wasn’t just a “kids club” or a family pool, it felt like every twist and turn was designed for a kid and/or parent. In fact, Märchenhotel Braunwald is part of a whole group of hotels in Switzerland dedicated to families (Swiss Family Hotels) . It felt amazingly validated and reassuring to have a place designed for this wild season of life. Here are a few of the amenities that this hotel offers: 🏰 small animal zoo with alpaca, llama, rabbits, goats, guinea pigs, and chickens 🏰 indoor swimming pool (open 24 hours a day!) with a tarzan course 🏰 outdoor infinity pool overlooking the mountains 🏰 gorgeous rooms - some with goats that come right up to your window! 🏰 childcare (included!!) 🏰 half-board meals 🏰 bouncy castle 🏰 large playground with slides, swings 🏰 tennis courts 🏰 scooter track We initially came across this hotel months ago and we were so pumped to collaborate with them on this stay! Big fan of the UV sun protection tops with matching bottoms, and I live in these easy-care skorts! 🏔️ The Dolomites are a stunning mountain range in Northern Italy, popular for skiing in the winter (Olympics will be there in Feb) and hiking / outdoors fun in the summer. We are novice hikers and found plenty to do that was easy and family-friendly. 🏘️ We picked the charming, walkable town of Ortisei as a home base. It was conveniently located, and a ~2 hour drive from northern Lake Garda. ✨ We didn’t even scratch the surface of this vast region, but some highlights: • Beautiful gondola ride up to Alpe di Siusi, an alpine pasture with playground right at the top, and stroller-friendly walking trails to lunch at multiple restaurant huts that had more playgrounds. • Short drive + very scenic chairlift up to PanaRaida, a trail designed for kids with 10 wooden play / water stations along the easy hike. • Val d’Anna family nature walk in Ortisei, with a river to splash in, mountain hut restaurants and big playground along the trail • Seceda ridgeline for our parents date • Daily gelato at the many little shops in town • Things on our list we didn’t get to: rowing 🛶 on the popular Lago di Braies, Lago di Carezza, castles, alpaca farms, adventure parks, and Rio wanted to ride all the gondolas and lifts! 🏨 Below are a few Dolomites family resorts with childcare included that we looked into, but there are SO many other family-friendly accommodations as well as some really nice adults-only hotels we were admiring! • Sonnwies • Cavallino Bianco • Aki Plose • Falkensteiner https://liketk.it/5naij mom travel outfits, Europe vacation with kids, Italy trip, Dolomites family activities

Your Guide to France with a Toddler 🇫🇷 Having spent 3 months traveling in France with our now toddler over the last 2 years (3x) & as a French American mom, I have a few tips for when visiting. ➡️I just published my South of France toddler guide on the blog, & have a Paris toddler post too (linked in bio.) here’s what you need to know: ⏰ #1 tip is to have a later schedule If you plan to dine out, know that most restaurants open for lunch at noon, & for dinner at 7pm. We do a much later schedule by 2 hours when in France. 🍽️ Eating Out Know that high chairs are limited. Call ahead if you absolutely need one to check and reserve it, some places only have a few. Don’t arrive in a hurry — dining in France is often a bit slow but so lovely to spend around the table, & many have kids meal options! 🛝 Parks It’s such an easy to thing to do when visiting - Google “kids park” and a jeux d’enfant will be what to look for. Carousels are also a hit! 🧷 Supplies Pharmacies are an easy win for all diapering needs, formula, & anything else in this category. Monoprix, Lidl, Bon c’Bon is where to get groceries (there are other stores too). 🏠 Accommodations I usually opt for a vacation rental when visiting. It’s easy to find many that will have high chairs, cots, & even toys. Always message a host before booking to confirm!

Zabawy, śmiechy, przytulasy, quality family time 😍 Tęskniliśmy za wspólnym czasem.🍁 Szczyrk okazał się dla nas hojny, podarował nam wymarzoną jesienną, słoneczną pogodę i piękne widoki. I nie mogłabym pominąć hotelu @mercureszczyrk_resort , który wskakuje na podium wszystkich hoteli Mercure jakie odwiedziłam w Polsce i na świecie. Rewelacyjny dizajn, przestrzeń, lokalizacja, jedzenie, strefa basenów i SPA. A do tego kilka bawialni, w tym jedna blisko restauracji, dzięki czemu mogliśmy na spokojnie zjeść, gdy nasze dziecko bawiło się w najlepsze! Po prostu sztos!⭐️ Aż mi się zachciało trochę popracować po tym weekendzie 😜 ale spokojnie, jeszcze kilka dni na chillu pociągnę 🤣 Etap NICNIEROBIENIE trwa!🥳 Wytrzymam te 2 miesiące do końca roku?
